Moeraki Boulders Dunedin

The Moeraki Boulders are a rock formation in New Zealand. They are unusually large and spherical boulders on Koekohe Beach on the Otago coast, between Moeraki and Hampden. The boulders sit in mudstone, which is eroded by the action of the waves along the beach. These Spherical boulders are around 60 million years old. This environment is a great wasy to socialize and spend time with friends and family. It is also a great was to take amazing photos with the Scenery.

Lake Matheson West Coast

What is reflected in the lake is also one of New Zealand’s natural wonders. On a clear day, Lake Matheson offers up a perfect reflection of the magnificent Mount Cook as well as the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers. It’s a little walk around the lake which will take you around an hour although amazing scenery.

The Blues Pool, Haast Pass

An easy short walk through mature beech and podocarp forest leads to these natural wonders of pure glacial water gathered from the mountains. Travel through open flats for spectacular mountain views and enjoy the coolness of the beech forest to a swing bridge over the Makarora River. The Blue Pools is very so wondrous because of the lovely clear water that is also surrounded by mountains and rocks. In autumn and winter especially, large rainbow and brown trout migrate up the Makarora River from Lake Wanaka, and can often be seen swimming in the pools at Blue Pools. However, fishing is not allowed at Blue Pools.

The Waitomo Glow Worm Caves attraction is a cave at Waitomo on the North Island of New Zealand. The glowworm species found exclusively in New Zealand. This cave is part of the Waitomo Caves system that includes the Ruakuri Cave and the Aranui Cave. The glow worms emit a pale light which attracts insects toward the sticky threads of their snare. The blue/green light is a product of a chemical reaction between luciferin (a waste product) This place is very famous in New Zealand Waitomo and the caves village has a population of around 500 people and an estimated tourist population of around 450 000 each year.

Milford Sound Fiordland

Milford Sound is a fiord in the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island. It’s known for towering Mitre Peak, plus rainforests and waterfalls like Stirling and Bowen falls, which plummet down its sheer sides. The fiord is home to fur seal colonies, penguins and dolphins. Milford Discovery Centre and Underwater Observatory offers views of rare black coral and other marine life. Boat tours are a popular way to explore too!

Pancake Rocks Punakaiki

Punakaiki is a small community on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand, between Westport and Greymouth. The community lies on the edge of the Paparoa National Park. The Pancake Rocks are a very popular tourist destination at Dolomite Point south of the main village. Their are many fun and exciting activites you can do at this place which included Kyaking, Walking and Exploring some of these amazing features.
