Frederick County Public Libraries Achieved Record-Breaking Numbers in Fiscal Year 2019
This past year has been a great time for Frederick County Public Libraries! Over the past year we’ve added a brand new branch in Myersville, hit an all-time record of 3+ million items borrowed (28% of which were digital resources!), and worked with 150 partners across the county to provide exciting and innovative programs in all our branches.
Another milestone for our libraries this year, we removed fines from all children’s materials in our ongoing effort to eliminate barriers and improve access to the library for all community members.
Thanks to supporters like you, we are pleased to share this annual report which highlights some of our major achievements this year. We hope you will join us in 2020 as we continue to help Frederick County explore, invent, and transform.
