Jade Chapman, Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland and a junior Business Marketing major. Coming from a city where it isn't probable for young adults to head off to college, Jade had the ability to get it going for herself as well as setting a model for her younger siblings also. I shot this image by the lake across from the MPC. I used this photo in black and white because it helps draws out the feeling in her, but it was not difficult to get the genuine picture. The leaves in the back gives the photograph a quiet look behind her feeling. A hard working young lady proceeding with the fight among herself and the business world.

I wanted to add this photo as well to show the volume of color. As Jade looks into her future she looks into it as a bright and promising business marketer.

Ti'Asia Lindsey, brought up in Petersburg, Virginia and a junior Hyper major with a double minor in Sports Management and Mass Communications. Growing up Ti was the only child, however she had family close in age that she could call siblings. After the death of close relatives, Ti'Asia 's point of view on life has changed colossally. She accepts that she needs to improve and in doing as such you need to fell better to improve. Being the only child on top of being a first generation college student, there were many obstacles that she has needed to jump through during the harsh occasions. Defeating these difficulties has given her a superior out look on the more brighter side of life. In spite of the fact that she is still young and learning, I can say that she is thriving through the obstacles.

In first photo, is used a black and white color scheme to represent the emotion from the subject. As you can see on her shirt is her cousin that passed and on her arm is another cousin that has passed. In the photo I had the subject face away from the camera but she chose this pose to show the relief of finally feeling connected within herself. Says that she feels "free". The second photo was to show her true personality with the added smile, such a pure soul.

Kaniya Worrell, a junior Business Management major from Newport News, Virginia. From the consistent moving among Hampton and Newport News, while likewise handling the difficulties of exchanging schools also, Kaniya has shaped the mental fortitude to proceed to move and never allowed her fantasies to suffocate. The assurance to improve the situation for herself as well as for her family too, has made a relentless lion within her to complete school and build her organizations image.

Kaniya has a joyful spirit that lights the room when she walks in. She doesn't allow her job to get in the way of her personalty and that's what makes her a unique individual

T.J Tucker, a rising senior and Psychology major from Chesapeake, Virginia. Transitioning into adulthood as we all know is difficult, yet T.J figured out how to make it look as smooth as butter. Endeavoring to become a future NFL star, while stepping up to understand his place as a man in this world, T.J has been honored in the CIAA one of few other members for a great football season. The assurance he has still can't seem to leave from him. As a person of color living in America it tends to trigger, yet the association inside hisself and the game is perfect, he sees his fantasy in any event, even when it's not substantial. To ask what the inspiration is behind his pain and achievement is the absence of moral support. Its said that sometimes we are our own worst enemy, but that only applies when you choose to stay where you are instead of wanting to grow as a person spiritually and mentally.

The concept of this photo is to grasp the destiny for T.J. The helmet and the football representing his passion for the game, while the books represents his study in school which is psychology studying and understanding the human brain.

T.J is a firm believer in "what is meant to be will be", and always stands by the motto "Destined For Greatness!"

Kymon Pope, also known as "Peety". Born and raised in Dinwiddie, Virginia, a rising senior and star safety for VSU'S football crew. Studying Business Accounting with a minor in Sports Management. As a young kid to watch your father be stripped from you and potentially losing your mom as well changes your point of view of life as a kid. This term of occasion had formed Peety into the brave man that he is today. Pope has his own image that he is proceeding to work from the ground up. Additionally a respected notice in the CIAA designation for having an exceptional season. Coming from a strong family pope has the ability to keep striving for a promising future.

Pope is also a firm believer in "What is meant for him, will be for him" No need to stress over things we can not control, but the things that we can control take our time with it or give it to god. Live in the moment. He follows this motive everyday through football, something that was meant to be for this present moment
