ANGUS MUNRO
A ridiculous four-octave vocal range, tear jerking songs, stage acrobatics and trademark wit; all of these helped propel Angus Munro on to the scene in 2019 with his debut album "MIRROR MAN".
Following a UK tour culminating in packing out The Troubadour in London, last year also saw Angus make an unusual two appearances on BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends within seven months. The self-titled "Amateur Piano-Wrestler" has a busy 2020 ahead with a new album in the works, film projects and various high-profile collaborations.
THE ALBUM
“Mirror Man" is a collection of finely crafted piano-based pop songs focusing on the range of reactions we all face when coming to terms with loss.
From the title track - written 24 hours after Angus' father passed away suddenly - BLEED IT OUT - a love letter to the cathartic comfort of mosh pits - all the way to EQUALIZA - a soaring ballad personifying anti-depressants - MIRROR MAN covers diverse ground in truly spectacular fashion.
The deluxe edition of the album is available on 12" vinyl, comes with three additional tracks and was released on Counselor Records on 27th May 2019.
