Coker Cobras
The Coker College women's lacrosse team is set to host the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears (Apr. 20) at Coker Athletic Field. The game is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m., with senior day festivities beginning at 12:45 p.m.. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
The Cobras finished the 2017-18 season with a 4-11 overall record, including a 2-6 mark in conference play. Coker is 6-7 overall this season, and 2-5 in conference. A win over the Bears on Saturday would secure a spot in the South Atlantic Conference championships.
Player to Watch
Kent has an enjoyed a record-breaking senior season, setting the score record in points, and goals in a game, as well as breaking Haley McCusker's record for career goals. She ends her Coker career with school records in career goals (232), assists (119), and points (351).
