There are not many things better than cooking with your grandmother. Well, maybe the eating part. Savoyard, a delicious french dessert, will have the whole table asking for seconds. It is light, yet very satisfying after a big dinner, and the best part is that it only takes 15 minutes.
To cook your dessert you will only need a few ingredients: two boxes of Lady Fingers, Cool Whip, milk, and two boxes of chocolate pudding.
Begin to place each Lady Finger in whatever design you choose. It is best to have a plate that has a small raised edge, so that nothing overflows.
Once the pudding thickens a bit, but it is not too thick, begin to pour it over your soaked lady fingers until it is covered.
Now we are almost done. The most important part is to make sure that the Cool Whip is defrosted. Take it out of the freezer over 20 minutes before you begin, or just keep it in the fridge for the day you will cook. Glob the Cool Whip onto the pudding, and spread until it looks flat. You can drizzle more pudding on top, add sprinkles, or even some chocolate powder for a Tiramisu effect. Now, enjoy your delicious dessert.
