Being left home alone .At first its a night mare for Kevin a few hours in and Kevin is on his 2nd sugar high binge watching some pretty interesting movies . He faces some major conflict when he had to deal with some pesky robbers and he handles it way better than most adults would . Home Alone is a classic holiday movie , a must watch .
#3 : National Lampoon's Christmas vacation , at a first glance seems a little to old for most of the current generations taste . Clark like most parents want the perfect Christmas season . However things are a little skewed when his cousin Eddie shows up and causes quite the commotion .To further the chaos Randy finds out his job wont be handing out those sacred Christmas bonuses . This movie has a pretty good message you can try all you want to make your Christmas perfect but in the end it is only about the people you spend your time with . A must watch with the family.

The classic Dr. Suess story brought to life is so close to our number one spot. My favorite part ? the most fun moment is the montage when he is stealing everything, which has “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” playing over it, arguably the best original Christmas movie song ever. It will never get old .
#1 : The number one best holiday movie also can double as your favorite Halloween movie . The Nightmare Before Christmas . Everyone loves A good Tim Burton movie and this one out shines the others . Completely original and visually stunning . What makes it even better , Disney didn't want anything to do with nightmare they saw it as a risk . Little did they know Nightmare is the best holiday movie of all time and that is not an overstatement . This a movie for young and old and good for any time of year .
