Gayten-LGBT has more than a decade of experience in providing psycho-social support to LGBTIQ people through their services: the LGBTIQ help line and trans support group (both founded in 2006), consultations via e-mail and Facebook, individual consultations, counseling and psychotherapy, and legal counseling.

With the helpline, email consultations and through Facebook, Gayten are able to provide mental health support to LGBTI people in Belgrade, but also to those living outside the capital, and people living abroad too!

Gayten's trans support group was founded in the same year as LGBTIQ help line - and since 2006, more than 100 trans and gender non-conforming people have been members of this group. In 2017, the majority of the members of the trans self-support group are young trans people between the ages of 18 and 25.

In the first nine months of 2017, Gayten have provided 206 individual consultation sessions, mainly focusing on mainly in the form of continuous psychotherapy support.
