Hi Team Togetherness Friends and Families,
It's Mrs. Sommerville & Mrs. Patterson here to say hello! We hope you have been enjoying your summer and filling your days with sunshine, friendship, and fun! We have had a busy summer filled with work AND play. The two of us have been working with teachers all over the state, sharing all the things that make Team Togetherness great! We brag about you guys even when we're on summer vacation!
Our room is cleaned and we are working hard to set it up for Meet and Greet. We are super excited to start our 2nd year together!
Don't worry...it hasn't been ALL work. We have found plenty of time to relax and have some fun too!
We've been to several concerts and listened to some great music! You know how much Mrs. Sommerville loves to sing :)
Crazy enough, Eamon and Cole ended up on the same T-ball team this summer. That meant we got to see each other every Tuesday night!
We spent hot, summer days at the pool...
...and at the lake!
The kids were proud of their gardening skills and the veggies they grew!
Our summer days were filled with a lot of laughter and smiles!
Throughout the summer, Mrs. Patterson prepped and planned for a first floor renovation on her house. There was a lot of time and energy put into the planning, and the first hammer hit the wall in mid-July! It was an exciting time for the entire family.
Mrs. Sommerville has been up at the crack of dawn most mornings, training for her first half marathon in September! She's up to 30 miles/week...Mrs. Patterson thinks she's nuts, but promises to cheer her on at the finish line!
Mrs. Sommerville also welcomed a new addition to the family! After a morning at the Humane Society, we all agreed that Little Lucky should come home with us. This little bundle sure does have a lot of energy!
All in all, it was a fantastic summer! We hope you, and your families, had as much fun as we did. August is right around the corner. Before you know it, we'll be back to school! Stay safe and enjoy your last few weeks of summer vacation!
