On Campus
On-Campus Living
Living on campus ensures you’re only footsteps away from your morning class, plus the relationships you will form will last well beyond your time in college. We offer four styles of housing including modules, suites, apartments and houses.
Commuters
If you plan on commuting to FPU, you’ll still feel like a part of the Sunbird family. Get to know your fellow students at commuter BBQ’s, campus events and off-campus experiences. Plus, every week enjoy special commuter lunch pricing in the dining hall!
Campus Amenities
Fitness Center, Commuter House and Lounge, Charlotte’s Corner Coffee Shop, Pacific Bookshop, Hiebert Library, pool and ping-pong game room and student study lounges.
Spiritual Life
Worship Together
We offer a variety of ways to worship throughout the week. Student-lead worship teams guide the community in song and speakers from within and outside FPU speak on a variety of topics throughout the year.
Ministry Opportunities
We partner with local and global organizations to respond to our call to serve others through after school programs, conflict mediation, refugee and immigrant services, summer-long missions trips and year-long cross-cultural immersion experiences.
Spiritual Support
Office of Spiritual Formation works to foster the spiritual growth of all students at FPU. Services include on-site counseling, Bible study and mentoring opportunities, a full-time campus pastor and a student food pantry.
Financial Aid
We’re committed to making your education as affordable as possible, that’s why 98% of FPU students receive some form of financial aid. Our Student Financial Services Office works hard to make sure you focus on your education while we focus on helping you pay for it. FPU uses the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the California Dream Act application as the basis for federal and state aid options, which are all based on student financial need.
Types of Aid
- Federal Aid - Grants, loans, work study
- State Aid - Cal Grant (for CA residents)
- Institutional Aid
- Merit-based academic scholarships
- Performance-based scholarships
- Other grants and scholarships available
- Private donor scholarships
We want you to focus on your education, not on how you’ll pay for it. While tuition can seem like a big scary number, there are plenty of ways to break it down and make it affordable for you. After scholarships, grants and realistic payment plans, what you're left with is just a fraction of the price.
100% of new first-time, full-time degree seeking students receive a scholarship of at least $5,000?
