WELCH STREET STUDIOS

Gallery, Mixed Media

Welch Street Studios is located on the Spirit Trail, next to Lower Mackay Creek Park in North Vancouver. The top floor of the building was purpose-built for artists with nine individual studios and a spacious common gallery space for exhibitions.

There are eight Welch Street visual artists participating in this year’s Crawl: Janice Beaudoin, Michael Brouillet, Anne Gudrun, Elspeth Hart, Nicola Morgan, Sandrine Pelissier, Linda Ramsden and Tanya Vipond.

Our work includes abstract, figurative, and landscape work in a variety of media. You will find links to our individual websites through the Welch Street Studios website link provided here.

Many of our artists offer studio visits by appointment so please feel free to contact any of the artists directly to see their work in person. We would love to hear from you.

We would also love to see you at one of our of our First Saturday Open Studios - our studios are open to the public on the first Saturday of every month from noon-5 pm. See the art where the art happens!

Please note that some Welch Street artists may also have their own Crawl listings and we invite you to check them out

Thanks for visiting. Stay safe and enjoy the Crawl!

About the North Shore Art Crawl

Each spring, The North Shore Art Crawl celebrates the talent of local artists, as local studios, community and commercial galleries, and art schools, open their doors to the public to display their work and share their passion. This year, the 2021 Online North Shore Art Crawl is a month-long virtual event from March 12 - April 12, 2021. You are invited to scroll and swipe your way across the North Shore, exploring artist webpages showcasing creative processes, practices and exhibitions. This is a great opportunity for local visitors and remote browsers to meet the talented artists of the North Shore.
