The GREAT AUSSIE LUNCH! Outback Steakhouse offers addicting favorites from the land down under

Outback Steakhouse recently introduced favorites from the land down under by offering a selection of cocktails, appetizers, mains, and desserts, calling it 'The Great Aussie Eats'!

Good thing I was able to have time for a quick lunch, but before the features dishes started arriving on our table, I had a taste of their other, more popular and yummy items on the menu.

Cherry Limeade

For starters, the complimentary Honey Wheat Bread was crisp on the outside and sweet and soft on the inside. It's best with some whipped butter, or feel free to order some chocolate sauce and you'll never regret it.

Other appetizer options include this Typhoon Bloom Onion; which I found to be a perfect for large groups because its serving is HUGE -- I tried ordering this once and I never noticed we were already eating half of it because it still looked like we haven't touched it yet hahaha!

Although you'd come for the steaks in Outback Steakhouse, you should also consider ordering these Buffalo Wings. Classic and wonderful.

And now..here are the dishes under THE GREAT AUSSIE EATS!

Tomato and Mozzarella Bruschetta

I probably had a few of these (or maybe more)! Great with wine. The TOMATO AND MOZZARELLA BRUSCHETTA is a refreshing take on your usual french bread as these are topped with oven roasted tomatoes, fresh mozza and basil pesto / fresh basil on top!

Hearts of Gold Cod

The HEARTS OF GOLD COD is fresh and flavorful in so many levels. Think a fresh flaky piece of cod topped with artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, green onions and a light lemon sauce. Served with seasonal veggies, it's perfect for the picky pescetarian.

Chile Marinated Ribeye

And for the star of the show, feast your palate on this CHILE MARINATED RIBEYE that's perfectly seasoned and chargrilled. It also includes the traditional Outback sides - tortilla chips, grilled tomato and corn on the cob, but the difference is that this one is even better with some avocado pico de gallo on top!

See how done you want your steaks ate with the Outback Steakhouse Philosophy

For dessert, the TROPICAL CHEESECAKE is made of a slice of New York Cheesecake topped with tropical fruits, Lime zest and mango coulis! It definitely added oomph to the already delicious cheesecake! This dessert makes me want to go back to Outback Steakhouse so bad now!

Make sure you drop by Outback Steakhouse to experience THE GREAT AUSSIE EATS yourself! Cheers!
