Winter Sports Assembly By Lily Stetson and Abby Miller

On February 22, Redwood High School held their winter sports assembly, to recognize the accomplishments of sports and other activities at Redwood, accompanied by the Redwood band.

The varsity sports of soccer, basketball, and wrestling were at the assembly. Girls soccer went 9-1 during the season and came through with a WYL championship.

Boys soccer were also proud of how their season went, winning most of their games.

JV wrestling boys were undefeated this season. Girls wrestling were back-to-back WYL champs, and some of the boys and girls even went to state.

Girls basketball went a remarkable 22-7 this season and and both boys and girls finished the season at playoffs.

Mock Trial was also represented in the assembly. They made Redwood history by winning the Tulare County Mock Trial competition and heading to state trial.

FBLA also made it to the assembly. 84 of their participants placed in the top 10, 22 event champions, and 17 made it to state.

The Winter Assembly is a great way for all of Redwood's students who are hardworking and dedicated to be recognized for their achievements. All of the people involved in creating the rally did a fantastic job!
