NUUSBRIEF 2019 percheron genootskap van sa / percheron breeders society of sa

VOORWOORD

"Ons taak vir die toekoms as stoettelers is om die redelike hoë standaard wat ons in die verlede tot stand gebring het, te handhaaf en verder te verhoog. Die reputasie wat die Percheron perd verwerf het om as die wêreld se beste trekperd bekend te word moet behoue bly. Dit moet altyd die stoetteler se strewe en ambisie wees om te verbeter op sy vorige prestasies deur sy kennis en ondervinding op die mees doeltreffende wyse te gebruik." - Voorsittersrede P.C. Ek wil graag my dank uitspreek teenoor elke lid vir u bydrae om die kleurvolle nuusbrief die lig te laat sien. Elke foto hierin vervat vertel sy eie storie van ons telers se liefde vir hierdie unieke ras. Geniet die nuusbrief!

'n Groot dankie aan ons sekretaresse, Heleen Pope, vir die toewyding en ywer waarmee sy rigting gee aan die bestuur en hantering van die administratiewe sake van die Genootskap. Haar kennis is van onskatbare waarde en strek vanaf die skouring tot en met die keuring van ons geliefde perde.

Die uittreksel uit die Voorsittersrede van wyle Mnr. P.C. Naudé het my opnuut laat stilstaan om weer te besin oor dit waarmee ons as Percheron telers besig is.

Dit is my wens dat die “Gees en Gesindheid” van hierdie 'Percheron Reus' in elkeen van ons as stoettelers sal voorbestaan.
