Flipped School future education
In today's higher education, teaching methods such as e-learning, blended learning, and flipped learning are spreading to improve the quality of teaching and learning and to improve the learners' capabilities in the 21st century, including digital literacy. In recent years, there has also been a growing interest in Mooc, an open-source, large-scale online course offering free, high-quality courses from prominent university professors to a wide range of learners around the world. These higher education innovations are actively using online learning to overcome the limitations of face-to-face classrooms and to provide education that meets the needs of learners anytime and anywhere. Are these innovations more diversified and how will schools in the future change?
I have been teaching students in South Korea for 5 years. Education has kept changing and will be. I have been thinking about the future education while I was teaching students in schools. Will the distinction be made between the role of future teachers and students learning in future schools? Instead of "Mathematics", "English", "Korean", and "society", the subjects of "problem solving", "creativity", and "co-operation" may be created.
School will change, slowly but daringly.
If the teacher's podium disappears and just floating among students becomes the main role of teachers, will people send children to school as it is?
Let's share your idea about future school!l Please share your expectation and thoughts about the feature of future schools. Here is my prediction.
The 5th Industrial Revolution has arrived, In a future society where creativity is of the utmost importance, the value and necessity of school decrease. As the school system will be an institution that undermines the creativity of students and, rather, equalizes outstanding and creative students. Then students will no longer need to go to school. Students construct their own curriculum and system, attend the school that they build by themselves, and finally the era of one-student-one school comes, which is called “flipped school”
WHAT IS MOBILE FLIPPED SCHOOL?
- 1. Composition of Teachers :Teachers are selected by the students directly from the teacher platform and students organize the lessons according to the curriculum that they established on their own. All teachers are accompanied by AI assistant teachers for team teaching.
2. instructional design : Since there are no regular courses, all the curriculum is composed of the students' desired subjects, but they must take the arts and physical education courses. In the case of physical education class, various sports can be enjoyed in real time with unspecified students in virtual reality space based on VR technology. Likewise, music and art subjects can be organized in the places and activities of their choice, and through this, they can sustain creativity-promoting activities focused on fun and interest.
3. Assessment: The assessment of all subjects is 100% criterion-referenced evaluation, and the criteria can be very flexible, with the goal of setting the students themselves in the AI system and reaching the level desired by the individual. The student may give homework to the teacher. Identify curriculum that works best for you and construct curriculum.
