THIS WEEK
The Coker College softball team (28-16, 7-10) will take on Anderson in their season finale on Saturday (Apr. 20), with first pitch scheduled for 2:00 PM. Prior to Saturday's contest, the Cobras will honor and celebrate their seven seniors Rebekah Addison, Katelyn Chambers, Taylor Forehand, Allyson High, Makayla Shore, Brianna Strickland, and Maria Williamson.
The Cobras are coming off of a a tough stretch that saw them fall in a SAC doubleheader at Queens in the middle of the week but will be glad to return home, where they have lost just four times all year. Coker will look for a big two games as it will help decide their fate for postseason play.
Anderson travels to Hartsville at 28-18 on the season and 10-8 in conference play. The Trojans have won six of the last eight games but their record in road games is just 6-10 this season.
