Teton Crest backpacking

The Teton Crest Trail is what began my love for backpacking.

My first trip on this trail took place in August 2014. At the time, I was working on staff at the boy scout camp, Camp Loll.

I was lucky enough to have this first timers experience with my Sister Paola. It was her first backcountry trek as well.

Those four days were difficult for me, but the second we left I was planning my trip back.

August 2017 would be the next time I experienced this amazing place

Cascade Canyon - The Canyon of Waterfalls

This time around I came back stronger and more prepared.

I love these misty mornings more than most things

I met amazing people and created lasting friendships

"The greatest views come from the hardest climbs"

Grant Teton National Park gives the most breath taking views

I have not yet experienced anything more stunningly beautiful than coming down into Alaska Basin

There's nothing like a 50 mile backpacking trip to help you overcome your weaknesses

"And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."

I will be back soon
