NINE PERSONAL RECORDS MET! The Lyons saw a number of outstanding finishes, including two in first place and nine personal records as they competed at the Springfield Classic last Saturday. Sophomores Simone Jacob and Hannah Rieders paced the effort for MHC earning wins in the 1500-m and 3000-m races, respectively.

LACROSSE LAST WEEK

300 CAREER SAVES! The Lyons saw junior goalie Mia Wysocki record her 300th career save in action last week as she notched 24 on the week and 12 each in MHC's games against Springfield and Coast Guard. The Lyons also saw first year Caroline Flynn (pictured) pace the offense with six goals on the week, including four against the Pride on Wednesday.

TENNIS LAST WEEK

VICTORY! The Lyons posted a 9-0 win at Clark last week, recording an overall 1-1 mark in NEWMAC action. First year Hannah Middleton (pictured) earned the lone point in the loss at Wellesley on Saturday, she also recorded a victory at six against Clark, as well as a doubles win!

RIDING last week

ON TO NATIONALS!! The Lyons were idle last week, but return to action at the 2019 IHSA National Championships in Syracuse, N.Y.

ROWING last week

VICTORY X 2!!!! The Lyons varsity eight boat posted a time of 7:58.5, besting Coast Guard (8:00.0) and Assumption (8:52.8) in action on Lake Quinsigamond last weekend. MHC also saw its varsity four 'A' boat earn victory despite windy and rainy conditions as the morning progressed.

GOLF OPENS SPRING SEASON

BACK ON THE LINKS! The Lyons golf team returned to action last week at the Vassar Spring Invitational. Junior Stephanie Spitzer (pictured) paced the efforts in 17th overall as Mount Holyoke rallied on day two to finish eighth overall in the 12-team field.
