On Wednesday, March 20, Walpole High School put on the annual Coffeehouse—hosted by James Connolly—where students are encouraged to show off their musical talents with their peers and teachers.
James Connolly kicks off the Coffee House with an acoustic song.
Senior Katie Hurwitz playing the cello, and sophomore Caroline Gebhardt playing the piano, played two songs-"This is Me" from "The Greatest Showman", and "La La Land Medley" from the movie "La La Land".
After Hurwitz and Gebhardt's duet, freshman Chloe Macomber played 2 acoustic songs.
For the next performance, freshman Nina LaRusso sang and played a cover on piano.
Next up, sophomore James Kane played a drumbeat poem called "Fuzzy Bunny".
For the next performance, sophomore Christina Forester played a cover of 21 pilots' "House of Gold" on ukulele.
After Forester's performance on the ukulele, sophomore Amy Gordon also played a cover on her ukulele.
Next in the lineup was senior Myles Qualter, who sang a cover of Britney Spears' "Toxic".
To finish off the March Coffehouse, juniors Evan Cieplik (acoustic guitar), Owen Cooke (electric guitar) and Jacob Hutnick (bongos) played a Grateful Dead cover, and one of Cieplik's original songs.
