We did it! We made it through 2020! This was the cause for many hardships for a lot of people, myself included. Covid-19 certainly didn't make it easy finding clients and getting photography sessions down. On top of that, plans on traveling became quickly out of the question. It's hard to think that I would have been in Italy on my 25th Birthday, gorging myself on an authentic Italian meal while watching the sun sets in the distance. It would have made one heck of a travel blog for the year but what can you do. Everyone's travel plans were ruined due to the dumpster fire that is 2020. Even though this year was a nightmare, it didn't stop everyone from living their lives. I am glad I was able to be apart of the experiences.
Luckily for me, Denver didn't fully lockdown until early March, allowing me to capture some nightlife. It's not something I experience often but it is a magical feeling when I manage to go on these expeditions. I remember traveling with a group of friends and hosting viewing parties for the photos we took around downtown Denver. The pictures I ended up with are some of my favorites from this year.
My cousin, who also had a wedding in the summer, gave me many fun shots to add to my portfolio. Most of the pictures taken were of the families around, since they already had a photographer there to capture the main events. That didn't stop me from capturing these shots.
I finished off the year by roaming Boulder, booking family sessions, and partaking in a short photo challenge that I, unfortunately, didn't get too far in... That being said, though 2020 was a disaster due large global and national events, its the small moments that I will remember that made this year so speacial. Here's to a fantastic 2021 everyone! I hope you all enjoy the rest of the photos!
