This photo was chosen for this assignment because it shows rules of third and it shows the bottle rocket going off. The reason I enjoy this photo a lot is because I think it's cool seeing Mollie take a picture of it at the same time as me. Something about her taking a picture of it makes it look like a cover of a magazine or something to that degree.
I took this sat when we were taking pictures of the bottle rockets. Originally, I was just trying to take a picture of the rocket going off and sat in a position ready to take the picture. However, Mollie was also in a position to get the rocket going off, creating the picture that you see now.
This photo was taken for the Framing assignment earlier in the year and it really stuck with me. I really like how the bushes create a small frame around Cecilia and just the scene itself. The compositional element, if you couldn't tell, is framing.
I took this photo after school one day when I had a camera checked out. I asked my friends Cecilia and Daphnne if they wanted to pose for photos for me and we found this spot. This was Cecilia's idea because she saw the "frame" created and asked if we could take the photo there.
I chose this photo because Alexsis really pops from the bright blue sky in the back. I also like how "professional" this photo looks, it looks like she suppose to be a man character to a story or something like that. The compostional element in this photo is contrast.
I took this shot when Mr. McCarthy had us go out and shoot practice Contrast shots. Alexsis was my partner and I had gotten a few really good ones, but I felt this one was really nice.
I chose this photo because I really liked the colors and the way the plant looks in this picture. I know this was just a class assignment for fill the frame, but I really like how this photo turned out. The compositional element in this photo is fill the frame/Up close.
I took this photo when we were practicing taking picture of fill the frame and we were given M&M's as subjects. I really like having either flowers or any kind of plants in my pictures if I can, so I explored the school and found this bush. I was able to place my M&M perfectly on this plant and that's when I was able to take this photo.
I chose this photo because the colors in the sky were very pretty at the time and the stadium in front created a contrast between the two. I expect the view to also be pleased with the way the sky looks. The compositional element in this photo is contrast.
I was at Gregori for cheer practice when I saw the sky. I thought this would be he perfect time for a photo, but I didn't have my DSLR with me and just took it with my phone instead, which it still turned out really well.
I chose this photo because of the patterns in the photo. Also, this was the team I junior coached for earlier this year. These girls made up about half of my photos this year because of how much time I spent with them, but our cheer season ended and I hope the continue doing whatever they want to next year.
I took this photo right before one of their games. I wanted a photo of them just because and so I had some memories of them. They didn't mind, and then after they went out and cheered for a football game.
I chose this photo because I really like Alexsis' emotion in the photo and how happy she was. When I see this photo, I get really happy and think about the fun times I had while coaching these girls during this summer. The photo composition in this photo is contrast.
I took this photo during one of our practices while Alexsis was flying in a stunt. I thought that the sky would look really cool while she was up there and she was excited for me to take her photo.
I chose this photo because I needed something for leading lines. It's a nice photo within itself and is very simple. The composition element is leading lines.
I took this photo at school during our experiments with leading lines. The leaf was already in the middle of the lines on the floor and I thought it would be cool to count these as a leading lines photo.
I chose this photo because I felt that it had symmetrical elements in this photo and I needed a symmetry photo in this project. The M&M splits the photo in half, making the photo composition symmetry.
I took this photo when we were practicing taking pictures of subjects and we used M&M's. I particularly like this photo because of the lighting in the photo makes it look cool.
I chose this photo because I need a diagonal photo. This photo doesn't have much emotional value too it, but I still think it's very cool. This picture's composition is diagonals.
I took this photo in my backyard. I really like taking pictures of plants and I think that it look really nice.
