STUDIO WARDROBE
I have acquired over 100 pieces for you ladies to use, ranging from size XS to 3XL. There are other accessories like shoes, pearls and other necklaces and body chains available for use, as well as scarves, stockings, and a few sweaters in different sizes. If you have any questions about the wardrobe, please contact me prior to your session.
Please note: You will need to bring a nude and/or black thong to wear underneath any of the items in the studio wardrobe for sanitary purposes.
What is your body type?
Here is a little help on how to find the right lingerie for you.
- Apple - like an apple, you tend to be broader at the top (bust and shoulders) than the rest of your torso. For my Apple shaped beauties, here are a few things that are great for you: low-cut, strapless, and v-neck outfits. Bodysuits are also great on almost every body type.
- Pear - if you're this type, your torso tends to be fuller on the bottom and you tend to be wider in the hips. For my Pear shaped beauties, here are a few things that are great for you: bustiers, and bodysuits. Bodysuits are also great on almost every body type.
- Rectangular - A very straight figure, from the shoulders to the hips. For my Rectangular shaped beauties, here are a few things that are great for you: waist cinchers, push-up bras, vintage style lingerie looks. Bodysuits are also great on almost every body type.
- Hourglass - Generally this includes those women who have equally curvy measurements on top and bottom, with a narrower, well-defined waist. For my Hourglass shaped beauties, here are a few things that are great for you: teddies, chemises, and bodysuits, but make sure they are form fitting.
A few other tips:
Wearing a great pair of stockings, along with sexy shoes to match, is by far the best way to complete your look any time and make your legs look longer, slimmer, and sexier. Fishnets paired with a bra and thong, or even with some pasties look phenomenal on most body types, plus it's a look that is sexy AF!! (see image below)
Sexy Shoes ...Even if you don’t wear heels regularly, they elongate your legs for your photos. The higher the better! Don't worry, I won't have you walking around!! If you don't have any, just ask me! I keep several pairs of heels at the studio for your use.
Don't overlook the items in your own closet! Sometimes a tight t-shirt, soft sweater, or tank top and boy shorts can be just as sexy as lingerie!
If applicable, feel free to bring something meaningful to you or your significant other; this serves as a great way to personalize your shoot. Avoid bulky props, however. If you have any question about what to bring or not to bring, feel free to contact me.
WHAT NOT TO WEAR:
It's not that you can't wear them, it's just that I don't particularly prefer them.
Babydolls: The empire style, flare waisted nighties that you see in all of the movies. They are not flattering on almost every body type. They tend to make you look wider than you really are and they take those gorgeous curves and lines away when I photograph you.
Corsets: They obviously accentuate an hourglass shape, but they are also very restrictive as far as movement and posing. Not to mention, they are a pain to get on. I try to avoid them, if possible.
Make sure that if you plan to use any studio wardrobe items, or you think you might, please bring both a nude and/or a black thong panty to wear underneath for sanitary purposes.
As far as jewelry and accessories, keep it simple!! I want you to outshine your jewels! I keep gorgeous pearls on hand at the studio as well as a few other jewelry pieces and body chains. Dangly earrings will make your ears misshapen, so try to avoid them.
Don't forget, your birthday suit is always a fantastic option!!!
Grooming
5 days before your session...
If you wax, do so a few days before your shoot to avoid any bumpiness or redness.
Make sure your eyebrows are nicely shaped and groomed. Seriously...they make your face. Do it.
If you’re planning to visit the salon for a haircut or color, then give yourself a few days to make sure you are happy with it.
Be sure to get a salon manicure and pedicure for a flawless finish. If you can't, at least make sure fingernails and toenails are neat, clean, and trimmed...preferably polished. They WILL be in photos, so don't skip this one.
Stay out of the sun – while a base tan will be nice in photos, red, blotchy skin will not.
PLEASE – DO NOT SPRAY TAN UNLESS YOU HAVE DONE IT SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE. If you do opt to do this, make sure it has been at least 48 hours since the tan is applied and you have showered after. If studio items are ruined due to spray tan transfer, you will be charged for any items that need replacement.
I do not edit tan lines as a part of my regular editing process. I can add on this service for an additional $5 per image.
Drink plenty of water for luminous skin.
Lower your salt intake and avoid alcohol if you’re worried about retaining water.
Try on your outfits and lingerie to make sure they fit properly; remove all tags and labels. If you bring a dress shirt or something that will show wrinkles easily, please steam or iron it beforehand and hang it to bring to the studio.
The Day Before Your Shoot…
Bathe, shave and moisturize.
Double-check everything is properly packed and ready for the shoot: heels, jewelry, accessories, props.
Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the studio without stressing. Check weather and traffic reports to ensure you have allotted enough time for unexpected delays.
Enjoy a relaxed, quiet evening.
Plan for a good night’s sleep – eight hours is ideal.
The Day of Your Shoot…
Use clear deodorant please. If you don't have any on hand, I keep an invisible spray at the studio, so no worries.
Wear loose-fitting clothing to your session to avoid red marks on your skin (no jeans, tight socks or tight clothing, for instance).
Eat breakfast before you leave the house. Something filling. No...seriously. Eat something. I will put you through a workout, so be prepared.
Make sure you have removed all traces of makeup and that you have a completely clean face, especially around your eyes, unless you will be doing your own makeup. (This applies to special sessions only. My regular sessions come with makeup application.)
Make sure your hair is completely dry and ready for styling, unless you will be doing your own hair. (This applies to some special sessions. My usual experience comes with hair styling.)
Ok...now that that's all settled, where is this going down?
All sessions will take place in my studio located in downtown Fulton, MO. The address is 107 W. 5th St. Here is the street view to better help you find it. (Working on getting the sign up out front ASAP!)
