Week 1:sound.
What I Did in week 1.
On Tuesday, I downloaded sounds from BBC sounds and edited them in Adobe Audition. On Wednesday I went out and recorded some sound using microphone and Tascam recorders. Then I moved the records onto my laptop so that I was able to edit them. On Thursday I added the records onto adobe audition and started to edit them. I realised that a lot of my clips had background noise so I decide to get rid of the background noise by using the noise reduction/restoration and then got rid of the noise sound. On Friday I carried on edited my recordings on auction then exporting them and importing them into Premiere Pro. I decide to edit my clips in premier pro because I found it easier to use then adobe audition. Once I had fully edited my sound project I exported then imported into Adobe Audition and then exported in adobe audition so that it would a wav file as that is what format we were asked to export it.
Final project
I got on very well with the given tasks and as I was able to finish the given task to a good level and on time. I feel about what I achieved was the it was successful in the way that I finished it on time and to a good level but I feel as it could of been better and try to off got rid of some of the background noise a bit better and of used the time more wisely. I came to this judgments as my work was not as long as other peoples and not quite as in depth as other people. I felt after listen to other peoples projects that mine could of been better and could of used more secondary sounds to create the atmosphere. Some feedback I got from other students was that I could of used more BBC sounds bites and another external inputs which would have bolstered the aspect of the Criteria and some more feedback was that I could of create more dynamic and full sound with more laying of sounds. I learnt overall all that I need to plan out better what I was going to do, so that my work was better and that I could of used the time better to get more sounds from BBC to help develop my work. Methods that could improve my planning and management is actually planning what to do each day and how much time to spend on it so that I could have time to spare to edit or perfect my work and make it that best it can be. What could of strengthen my planning was to planning more and use my time more wisely. I think that my work was successful because it used the sounds that I record and some from the BBC sounds. I also think that my work was successful because it was a good length and it was finished on time. The aspect of my work that I wasn't happy about was that fact that my sound project wasn't a long as I want to be and I felt that I could of used more BBC sounds to develop the atmosphere of my project but I ran out of time which is also a aspect of my work that I wasn't happy with and that also some of my work had background sound that I was able to get out which ruined a bit the atmosphere of my sound project.
Here are some screenshoots of some of my experimentation of sound design prototypes .
Then I had to the select a sound that sounds or makes me feel of home so I choose the sound of my front door alarm as because as soon as I come home after being at School or out with my friends its the first thing I would here and it makes me know that I'm home.
I delete a sound at the end of the recordings because it wasn't part of my front door alarm and would of ruined the recordings then I overlapped two of the records to make the recordings longer.
I edited the recording to sound as if it was coming out of a phone similar to what I did when I was experimenting with editing with my 7 creative audios pieces. After listening to the recording of my front door alarm. I found out that the alarm sound was too loud and the sound wasn't full able to be played as it was hitting the limit of the sound allowed so I had to lower the volume or just the part with the alarm.

Monday 7th September
I used adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create a gif. First I watched the video to help me understand how to use Photoshop an Illustrator and created a basic gif then I made a gif without using the video just remembering what to do and I made the Gif a lot less basic but annoying one of the letters background was different so It ruined the Gif I tried to fix it but for some reason it didn't work.
The first screenshoot is my First very basic Gif while the second screenshoot is my second better and more complicant one.
I found making the Gif not that hard once I know what I was doing, which was after watching the video. I feel as if I could use Gif in my work now as I know how to create basic ones and more complicant ones.

Reflection of the week. On Tuesday we were shown pictures of photos taken by other photographers to help us understand different types of photography. Then I went out and took photos which had to be down badly as we had to write a list of what makes a photo bad and I said that a bad picture is completely blurry and has a finger in the shot if it was planned to be in it. I actually found it hard to take a bad photo as everytime I took a photo, the camera focus the photo which meant that the photos were not blurry and actually looked good so I had to shake the camera and take a photo while the camera was moving which worked as the photos came back blurry then I also took a few photos with my finger in it. Then I came back and then was asked to go out and take photos that looked staged but aren't and photos that look staged that were actually natural. For my photos that looked staged I took pictures of the public as the photos look staged because it looks like the people were posing but they weren't because they didn't know that I was taking the photos. For my natural photos that look staged but aren't, I took two pictures one of a shopping trolley near a bin because its looks like I’ve put the trolley they for a photo because you wouldn't expect to see a trolley near a bin behind a building but in fact it was actually there and my second photo was a phone left on the side of the wall which looked natural as people often leave there photos on the side and leave it there. It looked naturally but it wasn't because I actually left my phone on the side so I could take a photo of it.
On Wednesday we used Lighting to take pictures. We set up different shots with different lighting setups. We took it in turns to sit down and take photos of the other students. I took pictures of just a chair with a light shining on it as it had a nice reflection on it and it also had a nice shadow behind which is what I was looking for when I took the pictures. I also took a picture of a window with the light shining through it which looked really cool and really nice. Then I took some photos of other students with the light shine on them, I took some close up photos and some distanced photos so I could get the background in so people could see the background of the images and see what the setup looks like. I found it easy to take photos using the light and creating different shadows and lighting on the subject in the photo. I found it hard to get a good picture with perfect lighting.
On Thursday I went out to take different types of photos. Architecture shoots, Candid shoots and staged shoots. I took lots of photos of Architecture because there were lots of buildings around the area where I took the photos. After a while I realised that I was able to take the stage with me on my own, I just set my camera to have a time delay which allowed me to place the camera down and run into my position. I found it hard to focus the image on me as usually when I came back to look at my photos I was blur which meant I had to focus the image before I set the camera to take the photo of my.I found it easy to take architecture photos as I said before because there is a lot of buildings near Ravensbourne.
My favourite Images from Thursday Original version.
Edited versions of My favourite photos
On Friday I had 1 hour 15 minutes to edit my 13 images but I lose 45 minutes of edit because my creative cloud isn't working, so I found it hard to edit all the photos to a good level in the 45-30 minutes that I had but fortunately I did manage to edit the photos to a good level because there didn't take that long to edit them. I edit all the 13 photos differently to give different feels to the images. I just mixed around with the different settings such as Contrast, Exposure, Highlights, Shadows, Whites and Black. On one of my images I changed the colour to be more blue and changed the exposure to -1.26 and contrast to be +30 to give it more of an eerie look to it. On My Final photographic outcome I changed the exposure to be -1.24 and contrast to be +30, highlights to be -38 and the shadows to be -88 but unlike the other image I changed the colour temperature to be more orange changing the colour temperature to +100 to give the photo more of a orange look to it and to make the photo look like it has nice weather and that it is a lovely sunset rather than the original were the weather look horrible. After the edit we went into groups and looked at each other's photos. I found it easy to edit the photos and to use the different settings to create a different atmosphere to the one which the original photos would have given. What I found and may need to improve on next time is having more different variety of photos as a lot of my photos on Tuesday and Thursday were similar which made it hard to pick other photos from the week to add to my 10 photos from Thursday.

Reflection on film week
On Monday we had a workshop about editing and we were given clips to edit and using a filter that we were given. Unfortunately, I was unable to do much editing because I wasn't able to edit the video. After all, the video was too slow to edit it and so I decided to rent it and it took 40 minutes to render it which was all the time we had left in the session.
On Tuesday we were put into a group and were given a tag line of a real film. We then went out and filmed the tag line. My group decided that we were going to film outside in the cafe and it was a nice day and the weather was nice and sunny, perfect for filming. At the start, the sun was shining in my face which made it hard to film but fortunately, we didn’t film at the time the sun was shining so, fortunately, i wasn't blinded by the sun and I was able to perform my lines. We filmed all of my lines from one side then we filmed Sasha lines from the other side and we made sure that in Sasha shot you can see Anna in the reflection in the mirror as if she was haunting Sasha’s character. Once we had filmed the shots we needed for our film we went back and uploaded and imported the clips into premiere pro.
On Thursday in the morning before Uni started I edited the film that we had recorded. I matched to edit the whole conversation that is in the film. On Thursday at Uni we were given task 2 and task 3 to do. Then like Tuesday, we were put into groups and we had to and film a silent movie. I and my group went outside and filmed on a building near to the Uni. We filmed look up at the person who we were filming then we filmed the person on the same level as them. Once we had filmed all the shots that we needed for the silent film we went back and uploaded the footage into premiere pro. Then we researched a cinematographer that filmed a developing shot that we aimed to recreate.
On Friday, we finished editing task 1 and task 2 video. I had to edit the colour of the clips to make my clips a little darker and Sasha shots lighter as we couldn't see Anna in the reflection of the mirror. Then I exported the video and uploaded so that we could get some helpful criticism about our projects. I ebi that we couldn't apply to our first video is that the camerawomen are reflecting onto me Jumper and another Ebi could be that we need to get rid of the Background sound as you can hear a lot of background sound.
I have learnt from different lighting and shooting styles that different lighting styles can portray different feelings such as a dark shot or a shot with little light. The scene is probably a sad one or some evil is happening. Different shot styles make you feel differently about what you're watching as if you have a close up of character you feel as if you're looking at them and that your part of the film while if you have long shot and look at something for a far then you'll feel as if your not part of the act and your just looking on at what is happening.
My films turned out very well, in both films what we wanted to portray came through in the final film. In film 1 the conversation and the shot of each character talking then cutting back to the other character talking and the lighting was very good and edited the lighting to be brighter on one of the shots because it was darker than the other shot and looked like a different day, but edited the colour in the shot got rid of this problem and made the shots look like they were filmed at the same time.In film would could of be better was nothing as I think that the film is good and you get the view of each character and your not left confused about what's happening. In film 2 the use of the sounds is really good as everytime a sound is heard the action changes which is what we would do as a group. What also works is that throughout the film you never see one of the characters face as its supposed to be a mystery who there are which is what we want people to think.
In both films we worked well as a group as everyone knew their roles and what would be required of them. This meant there were no arguments about what people were doing and what roles people didn't what to do. Then as groups we filmed the film and had the correct shots and correct lighting.
Alternative planning for final outcome
First way of planning the final outcome was getting the tag line and then thinking what we to do with that tag line and what we wanted to portray in the film to show off the tag line. Then after we decide what we want to do in the film comes the second way of planning the final outcome is to write do out ideas. Second way of planning the final outcome is too write down out ideas of what the film is going to be in it and write down what we were thinking about in the first way of planning. You can share ideas with ideas that you can write down if you feel that is going to add something to the film.
The final way of planning is to film the project for your initial ideas and then think wether you might need to change your original plans after watching the videos back and realise that you plan to come through as you would what it to do.

Reflection of Animation week
On Tuesday we created a face using adobe photoshop then import it into adobe aftereffects. I found it hard to create the face as I Struggled to find one of the things I had to do then I missed the rest of the things we were supposed to do to create fortunately I managed to worked out how to create the face and create every layer I needed. In adobe after effects we made the face do things. I made mine first look tired closing both its eyes and the next one I did was to make the face look shocked as it loses its hair before being happy again because it got its hair back. Once I knew what I had to do in aftereffects I found it pretty easy to create the different things that the face would do.
On wednesday we had an after effects workshop. First we were shown a presentation about different animations and showed some examples of them. Then we open up aftereffects and downloaded some material to use in aftereffects from google drive. We then imported the material and started to try and make the video movie and make them 3d unfortunately I couldn't do one of the steps and was stuck on it trying to do it the way we were shown but unfortunately I couldn't do it and then they moved on fast so I got left behind so I was unable to complete the task but before we did this I managed to do the other task which was to make a cub move around and add the effect ease in and ease out.
On thursday we created a landscape, creating the sea, the sky, the clouds, the moon and some land. We edited the colour of the land and sea to create a feeling when looking at it. Then we exported them and imported them into Adobe After Effects. We then had to make the landscape mov. First we made the moon move. I made the moon move from left to right as the moon would do in an animated movie, rising from the left and falling on the right side. Unfortunately like the other days I missed one step and fall behind as I tried to catch up which meant I was unable to do anything other than making the moon. I tired to do what I did with the moon but I tired to it with the clouds but in the end I couldn't move the clouds because in my thing they is rain coming from the clouds and I cant move them so unfortunately I couldn't move the clouds then I tried to do the land but run out of time because the session ended.
On friday we did stop motion. We were given plasticine and had to create a scene to do with the theme of ‘the forest’. I decided to make a blob being chased by some heads before being attacked by the big head man.I download stop motion to be able to do my stop motion film. Then I took photos to make my stop motion and in the end, I ended up taking 88 and my stop motion film was 17 seconds long by I edit the end part to be longer so the final production was 19 seconds long. I found make the stop motion not that hard as all I had to do was move the plasticine a take photo of it, although I did have a problem with the background as the background is different some of the photos but it doesn't effect the stop motion film.

Notes and planning for Error project
Reflection of my actually doing the project and what I did after I had finished filming the stop motion film.
I decide to make a stop motion for my error project as I felt it was easy to make a project/film that could show of errors as I could change the background during the film and change the characters head as the heads were the same shape and same colours which made it easy to change the heads to three from 2 to make an error which is not clear but you can tell it's any error because there are more faces then in a previous shot but its not clear because the heads dont change colour. I import it into premiere pro to slow it down so that anyone watching can clear see that I've made some errors on purpose such as the books that I filmed on changes and the books in the background and the bags which could tell the person that watches that I filmed some of the shots at different times.
Final project
Crit on my error project final video.I love how you've managed to get so much expression out of the faces you've made, Its great when they levitate too - after explaining how the error was a practical one, it was really clever. Crit 2 i like the intentional use of the moving camera angles and background items and also your hand in the shot - displays error effectively by confusing the audience. i think adding some elements of sound design could add to the outcome. Crit 3 on the second watch, once you had explained that your intention was to show the influence of practical error and the effect it can have on artworks then I really enjoyed it. Maybe practice more planning to provide a clearer narrative next time :).

Photos from Tate Modern-My 5 favourite photos and some other photos I took at Tate modern. First 5 are my Favourite artwork and artworks that I talked about
Initial analysis for artwork 1
What is significant about this photo is that it was painted in 1918 which was when world war 1 was still and it may have inspired the painter to paint this artwork of a ‘little peasant’ and it was also created two years before Amedeo Modigliani, the painter, died. The painting shows of what people wore in those days and what ‘peasant’ might of wore.Compare new media with the traditional in all its diversity in considering why the artist chose a particular format? The Artist chose to show what a ‘peasant’ looked like in those days and maybe to make people in the 1918s take notices of ‘peasant’ and realise that people are actually suffering in the world as rich people might not have realised that people were actually suffering. What I liked about this particular artwork was that it was simply and didn't uses lots of colours to make people take notices of it and it also shows what people in 1910s looked like, which obviously been born in 2000s I didn't know what people wore so it was cool to see what people in lower class wore in the 1910s. What's significant which is also want interested me was that it was made during world war 1 Connections to my work is that the artwork is of a person which I used in creating my characters for my Animation which I ended up not creating but I still created the characters and when I took photos for Photography week I took a lot of pictures of People.I felt that the artist could added more of a facial expression on the characters as the person doesn't have much of a facial expression.
Consider the intention behind the curation and display of the artworks and what is significant about it? I think the intention behind the display of the artwork is to show that you don't have to complicate spaces or colours to make good interesting artwork. In america that were a lot of wars happening so maybe Agnes martin felt that live was getting to complicated and hard and just wanted to make the world feel more simply and not so complicated and hard and make life seem more simply than it was actually and make the world a happier place then it currently was. What I found interesting about is that simply colour and simply shapes were used to create a artwork and its not like its boring it's interesting because you wondering why has this artist used simply shapes and makes you wondering what's the meaning of life maybe not to over complicate things and just take ever simple in life and using simple colours makes you realise that you don't need to use exciting and colourful colours to make artwork look good or stand out Can you make any connections to your own work?I can make some connections between my and this artwork as lots of my photos were taken of square or rectangle buildings which is the shape that is used in the artwork and feel that a rectangle is used because it's an easy shape to use/create.I felt that the Artist could of used more shapes like circles, square and triangle to enhance the artwork to carry on the use of basic colours and shape to create artwork.
I think the intention of the artwork is to show that you have use everyday objects to create artwork as in this artwork we see shelves being used with colours books being put on them which shows that literally anything can be used to create as you long as you've got an idea what you want to do with them. I think using everyday objects such as books and shelves is significant because it also shows the variety of artwork as most artwork people would think is painting or drawings but this artwork shows that anything can be used for art and anything can be art. What I found interesting, i've already said it before but the use of everyday objects to create artwork as someone can literally go home and recreate the piece of artwork which I think is really cool. I found interesting the different colours and patterns on the books as none of the patterns are repeated and put on two different books, the patterns are all different.I can connect this to my work as in my error final project video I used books in my work as a way to show errors off as I would change the books, I used everyday objects to create errors and a film similar to this artwork apart from me not using it to create artwork. I felt that the artist could of not used so many books because after a while it can get boring look at coloured books on the shelf because at the start your like wow and by the end you're like our ok, it's a bit same same.
Consider the intention behind the curation and display of the artworks and what is significant about it? I think the intention is to “represent highly emotional subject as love or war”, and this is evident as the painting is of a plane shooting down another plane and when seeing this I immediately thought about war and thought that it was created during the second world war but it was done nearly 20 years after the second war had ended in 1963 by Roy lichtenstein. Roy has also displayed the artwork as comics which I think makes what the painting is about(war) seem cool and something that is make believe and wasn't real like with normal comics which are usually about fictional place or characters. When Roy draw this painting in USA ,which is were Roy was from, John F Kennedy was assassinated and this could of influenced as John F Kennedy being assassinated could of made Roy thinking about and maybe back to world war 2 which he lived but probably wasn't part of it as he was only 16 when it started. Roy also might have thought that the assasssination could have started another world war, which again could have inspired him to think about world war 2 and the planes which the USA probably used and he wanted to create cool artwork to do with war. I can make connections to my work as during photography week I took pictures of planes, which is what Roy Lichenstein painted in his painting Whaam! Although my Plane is different to the one that he painted, first of all because hes were war planes which were used to blow things and my plane is a passenger plane and is just taking passenger from one place to another which shows the change of the last few decades as plane are now used to get passenger from one place to another and over 50 years ago it was used to blow things up. I felt could of added more detail to the plane.
I think that the curation and display of the artwork is to show that you can create anything with everyday objects such as ladders, buckets and .This is significant because it tells people that what do art that you can use anything to make art and that you don't need to be in a studio or have expensive things to make good art. The use of everyday objects can look bad or like the artist has just put some things together and called it art but this art looks really not just like they had put the things together for fun. Culture might of played a big role in the creation of this artwork as a lot of artwork before this was done by using colours, pencils and this might of made(artist name) not want to follow the norm and use other things to create artwork such as everyday things which I think makes it interesting as you would expect artwork to be a painting but for this artwork it was using objects as artwork, which I think gives the artwork an edge.I used everyday objects such as pencils, paper, plasticine and a laptop to create a stop motion film. I prove that in my work that you don't have to use expensive to create a good artwork or a stop motion film, you just need an idea rather than expensive materials.
Research task 1
Photo for site review
Review of artwork.2 Analysis of artwork 1.
The artwork that I have picked is of a peasant painted by Amedeo Modigliani in 1918 in France . It was created in 1918 during world war 1 by an italian working in france at the time it was created, it was created two years before Amedeo died. I like that the photo is basic just a peasant sitting on a chair, there isn't a background to distract you for looking at the peasant but I do feel that the artist could of added more detail to the peasants face as the detail of the face is very very basic just eyes, ear, mouth, nose and the only significant amount of detail is the redness of the cheeks which is a nice detail but I think that they should be more details but this could also because Amedeo Modigliani cared more about the person on the inside rather than the person on the outside and that also why he picked a peasant rather than a rich person who would of wore better looking clothes. “The aim of art is not to represent the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance” (Aristotle) This quote could prove the reason why Amedeo didn’t add much detail to the outward appearance of the peasant and he thought the inward appearance of the peasant was more important. This also adds to my analysis saying that Amedeo Modigliani cared more about the person inwards appearance rather than the outward appearance because he picked a person that was in the lowest class of society rather than someone in the upper class of society who outwardly would look better then the peasant that he painted.

10 Photos of me that are on my phone
Some of the photos are of my friends and we like to have happy and joyful feel to the Image because we want when people look at it to feel Joy when they look at it rather then sad and gloomy as the Lighting reflects the mood of the photo and what our mood was like when we took the photos. I think you can see in the photos that the mood is having fun with friends as my friends are smiling in the photos, and in one photos of me and my friend are laughing as you can tell that we are enjoy what we are doing in the photo. The lighting of the photos is bright which conveys a happy feel to it, none of the photos have dark lightings apart from the one at night but that is because the photo was taken at night on a plane. I have lots of photos on my phone of Lewis Hamilton who is my Hero so I get lots of photos of my photo for screensavers or for a presentation in school about my hero.
How much do we think about our different selves?I think we about out different selves a lot as during a day will go through a lot of different emotions and become different version of ourselves either being angry and may end up doing something that is really bad and something that we wouldn't do if we were not angry, which I think makes people think about there different selves
How in control are we of our image? We are in control of our image in the way that we can decided what to we want to eat and no eat depending on what we want to look like and we can also choose what clothes to wear, what way to style our hair and if we want to change the colour of hair, so in lots of ways we are in control of the our image but obviously if you going out for a special event then your mum might were something to look nice that you wouldn't normally wear, so your image wouldnt of be complete controlled by you.

How do creative practitioners show the complexity of identity/ representation in their work?
Creative practitioners show the complexity of representation in their work by showing how he made his work and how he represented his work and showed his identity in his work. In his work he wanted to represent the building that he was creating and the identity was the house that he was designing.I like the fact the he created a video to show off how he did his work and what apps he used to create the building and he didn't just have a picture and say this is what I created and I used this app, he actually showed how he created his work which I really like.
What was revealed in my moodboards?
In my moodboards it was revealed that I use a lot of high key lighting, which conveys a positive and happy mood from the photo which is what I'm trying to show through the photos as even in one of the photos in the mood board, me and my friend, Harry, are laughing which clearly reveals that what we are doing in the picture is making us laugh which makes people looking at the picture wonder what we are doing that is making us laugh so much, which is nice that people are looking at some of the photos and wondering what's happening in the photo and only the person in the photos know what happen in the photo to make them have that look on there face or why an object is broken.
Task 4
How much do we think about our different selves?I think we about out different selves a lot as during a day will go through a lot of different emotions and become different version of ourselves either being angry and may end up doing something that is really bad and something that we wouldn't do if we were not angry, which I think makes people think about there different selves

Evaluation for Who Am I Project
What I could of improved in my project.1.More time to film. 2.Film earlier so that the light didn't go do down alot by the end of the shot.3.Voiceover was longer than the clip that I had filmed, meaning I had to make the words quick or cut down when the person speaking took a gap which made the speech very fast. 4.When filming the close up we held the script up so the person reading could see their lines but it made them sound very robotic and not much expression on their face which meant I had to use a lot of medium shots that I filmed.

I decided to do my preventative task to do a film and after researching prevention in school I found this on the website “'Schools can help to protect children from extremism and violent views in the same ways that they help to safeguard children from drugs, gang violence or alcohol.” and after reading this I got my idea what to do as a response to prevent in school as I remember from my time in school what safeguarding there would do for alcohol and drugs. I decided to create a documentary type of film where I would be interviewing two students who had prevented safeguard training and it changed their lives. The project worked really well as what I aimed to film, I managed to record all of it and to a good standard. The project also worked well because the aim of the film that I wanted to portray was able to be understood and also wanted to film, I managed to film and it came out how I wanted it to and I didnt have to change my idea. They weren't any problem when filming as we film it early in the morning so there were no lighting problems and the actors didn't have to learn any lines so didn't have any problems having to say there lines and its was quicker to film as there didn't have to learn words and try and remember it and could just make it up themselves. Secondary research that I carried out was searching on the internet about prevent in school because I had no idea what prevent was before this project so I search what prevent was in school and so that I could make a response to it and know what it is and so that my film would be accurate. Some other secondary research that I did was to watch a short documentary video and make notes or what editing there use and what shots there used. This helped me to know what I need to film for my documentary type film and whats shots to use, I felt that this really helped my to know how to make a short but good documentary.I have shown understanding of the project because it is a virtual response to prevent in school as in my film I interviewed two former students how had been through the prevent safeguarding at school and ask them question they helped people understand prevent in school if they didn't before and how it changed their lives and turn their lives around. I used premiere pro to edit the video after I had film it on an iphone. I use premiere pro rather than other adobe apps because I've used it for almost 3 years now so feel confident using and know where all the tools are to edit and if an clip isn't full screen I know how to make it full screen without having to click on the clip and enlarge it.

Black history means to me that we celebrate the black people who have changed the course of the world and have also brought about change and means that everyone is treated equally, which is the way the world should be. Black history also allows people who don't know what black people went through in the past decades and it shows them how much the world has changed but we still have a long way to go before the world is perfect. Its important to celebrate what black people has done in the world as we always celebrate what white people have done to change the world and white and blacks people are equal so its important that we celebrate what both black and white peoples have done in the world wethers that's changing the world for good or winning something.A person that is most significant to me is Lewis Hamilton who is a six time F1 world champion, who uses his platform as a celebrate to voice his opinion and use his platform for good and to help stop deforestation and racism in sport and the world and to promote change in the world where things are being done incorrectly which I think is really good because if someone else said that wasn't famous people wouldn’t listen because there not famous. I also think that fact that Lewis is using his platform to promote change is good as some celebrities don't use their platforms to promote change in the world and there don’t realise what an impact there have on people if there actually do use there platform.Lewis is significant because he is promoted change in the world and making people think about whats happening in the world and if whats happening in the world is good or bad and how people can change the bad things into good things. Lewis is significant as he makes sure that there is equality in the world and wont stop battle until there is equality.I have understood the concept the project because I made video to do with black history as my video is about Lewis Hamilton who is a black driver in f1 who frequently talks about racism and wants to see equality in the world. Secondary research that I have used is YouTube and photos. I searched on the internet ‘Lewis Hamilton Black lives matter ✊🏿 to get photos of Lewis wearing the Black live matter for my montage to show Lewis supporting Black lives matter. I then search for videos of Lewis talking about racism.I’m using premiere pro to edit the montage together once I have downloaded the videos from YouTube which I’m going to download using a converter website. The present came out really well just how I imagine it would come out, I feel this because the message i was trying to portray in the video came through and the message coming through is a powerful message.
UG Hack week task
On Monday I downloaded clips to make an advert and then I spent Tuesday editing the video and present my final edit to the teacher and got feed back on it on Wednesday and that is what I did for UG Hack week.
Beneath the surface
Task. photos of Loneliness.
Mood-board to do with Loneliness
Mind-map to do with Loneliness and ideas for final project
I decided to make a film about a person looking like there are doing things with a friend when in reality there are alone and trying to make it feeling like he has friends. On Tuesday I filmed the scenes and upload a clip from my ps4 to YouTube which I am playing to integrate into one of the scenes. and on Wednesday I imported the clips into premiere and started to edit it, I edit on Thursday and Friday before present my final piece to some of my peers of Friday.
Final piece (Beneath the surface)
My evaluation
The footage on two of the clips was very dark for some reason so I had to up the exposure on the clips to make it lighter and so that you could see me more and so that the clips matched the other clips. When we were filming one of the scenes my dad was making tea so when I had to stop filming otherwise the sound from the kettle would have ruined the shot. A problem I faced is that I had to remove the sound of the wall so that the audience doesn't expect that there is actually a wall there rather than a person. What went well was that the project shows the brief beneath the surface as the film is about someone acting as if there are talking to a friend and you think that everything is alright on the surface but beneath the surface, the person might not be ok and actually very lonely and sad. What could've gone better? What could I of done better is that in the scenes with the crisp and the catching scene I could have actually used a person rather than the wall or nothing so that way the scene would look better and the said for the catching scene as I had to remove the sound from the wall when the ball hit it and change it with the sound of me catching the ball but the audio doesn't sound quite right, it sounds ok but could of be better.

Prep task for Transcription task
Recreating the scream painting
I recreated the scream painting using plasticine and fortunately I had white plasticine to make the correct colour for the scream character colour.I already had the faces made from a previous project all I had to was make the face more. Then I used a black pen to create the body of the character. I was unable to make the hands. I used a table to create the back ground
Changed the look on the face
An ad that annoys me is the Haribo advert where adults having children voice and talk about Haribo's. It great but after after watches it just gets annoying listen to adults with kids voices. The adverts get very repetitive after a while since all the do is recreate the advert but with different people in it and in different place, i feel like that there are better ways to advertise haribos.
My Own version of the ad
Me sitting at the table testing sweets because I didn't have any haribos

Transcription/Subvert the Story
Tuesday/Thursday task creating a film using a greek myth. I search greek myths on the internet and then went for a list and pick the one that I wanted to do.
I choose pandora's box
On Tuesday I filmed the voiceover for the deep voice for the person at the beginning than I filmed the rest of the film later on in the day then edited on Wednesday and Thursday.
Myth video project
I decide for my final project for transcription was going to be the same as my greek myth video but change what happens it, so rather then when Pandora opens the box good things comes out rather then bad things. This way the story line is similar but charged a little bit
I wrote down the bad words that are said in the original myth and choose to change the words to good ones.
After talking to Annette, I got help to create ideas so then I created a mind map and choose one of the ideas and i put it on bold. then I expand on that original and then thought of who could be in it.
Then I decide to write down ideas for scene that I need to film
Then I wrote down the idea for what the film was going to contain

Three brands task
Your London task. My local area isn't very exciting and doesn't have any tourist places so I decide to use photos that I took last time I went to visit My brother at Uni in Bournemouth and Bournemouth is a very tourist place with the pier and lovely sandy beaches
Here is my original plan for Your London before we went into Lockdown and I wasn't able to film with my friends
I had to change my original plan, so I changed the plan to be me going to London as I happened to be going to London to do a film with my friend so I thought it would be a great idea to film me in London and what I do in London. Add I also decided to make it point of view film so that people could experience London the way I experience it.

Collab Project
We were put into groups and we discuss our roles for the project and what are specialist area is. We had to by the end of the week we had to have a instagram with around 50 followers showing our work
We decide to call our group Ordinary gratitude. Then we created an Instagram for that account and started posting images on it and we quickly gain followers with almost 50 followers after one day.
We also made stories that we turned into Highlights about the team
Then I created a video about the day in the life of someone in lockdown and then I decided to change it into a video that everyday in lockdown because the same day you just repeat what you do everyday and the same over and over again.
mind map plans for the video
Energy Project
Tuesday I had to do some task to get us ready for the rest of the week.
My final production for Energy Project
Plan for Energy Project
with the editing I had to change the first two scenes as they looked too similar so I made the first clip darker and the second clip lighter so that you could tell that one was me being negative with the clip and weather showing this and the other clip with me being positive with the clip and weather again showing this

Editing for Past Project
Here is my footage and filters in my premiere pro project
Here are the filters that I used to make my video look retro
Here is some of the b-roll I found to use
Here is my final premiere project with all the clips edited
Here is what the original video looked like before I change the contrast on it and the exposure and put the filters on it
Heres what it looks like after I change the contrast on it and the exposure and put the filters on it
I did this to give it more of a retro look and make it look like it was filmed in the 1960/70s.
This what I change on the colours to make it more retro
Editing. Whilst I was editing I had to Make Tommy(Scott Lawrence) image bigger to make sure they were no black background on the original video.
Here is the background enlarged
Here is the original clip without the enlarged clip. As you can see the clip was filmed vertical which meant that they was black spaces either side of the video so I copied the clip again enlarged the clip to just be the roof in the original image to make it match the background
Then I added grain to it to make it look more retro as grain on videos from the 1960s/70s was very common. Add a blank vhs tape filter to again make it more retro and look more like it was from the 1960s/1970s.
Change contrast, exposure, temperature, highligths, shadows, blacks and saturation. I changed the contrast to 83.5 to make it darker , I changed the exposure to -1.2 to make it darker.I changed the temperature to 20.0 to make it warmer.I changed the highlight to -100.0 to make it darker.I changed the shadow to 85.5 to make it darker and the shadows more noticeably .I changed the blacks to -82.8 to make to darker and bring out the darker colours out which makes the video darker.I changed saturation to 60.0 to make the colour darker and make the screen not so bright to make it dark and more black and white to make it like the 1960/70s
I had to make Tommy(Scott Lawrence) louder because he was hard to hear. Made Harry(Archie White) was quite so I had to make him louder by making his speak 5db louder. My clip where hard to hear me because they was wind so I put a high-pass filter on my clips to be able to hear me better as the high-pass filter attempts to get rid of the background and I also made my clips louder to make sure you can hear me. I also Rotated Josh(Martin Johnson) because there were filmed side ways. To make it easier to make all the clip the same I changed the contrast, exposure, temperature, highligths, shadows, blacks and saturation on one clip then Copy attributes onto each video to make it the same contrast, exposure, temperature, highligths, shadows, blacks and saturation on each of the different clips
Evaluation.
EBI:The documentary could be better as it is 11 minutes long and for a short documentary its quite long and some people watching might get bored of it or lose interest and stop watching before. One of the interviewers gave long answers to certain questions and certain audience members might get bored of listening to the answer and just want a quick and easy answer. Tommy's answers are short and hard to hear and doesn't said very enthusiastic which may lose the interest of audience because the speaker doesn't sound very happy. My audio for my intro and outro piece is hard to hear as I filmed outside and i tired to remove the wind sound but it made my audio hard to hear.I couldn't find much b-roll that linked to what Josh,Tommy and Harry said so that is a bit of b-roll to match it but i decide not to add b-roll to footage just to make it less talking heads and more b-roll.
A problem I had was that I only realised on the day is was due that I had Josh and Tommy saying goodbye but not Harry so I had to get him to film he's goodbye on a different day were his background looked different but fortunately with the effects I had on you could hardly tell that it was a different day.Another problem was that Tommy’s clips were filmed vertically so I had to copy the video then enlarge it to make the colour of the background of Tommy’s original clip the same and that it also fills the background because there were black spaces next to the original clip.Another problem was that Josh said some lines that didn't make sense so I decided not to use it, so I had to cut the film just before the lines which made editing harder and make the sound said bad because the audio was cut suddenly. Another problem was that Josh clips were filmed sideways so I had to flip the clips and when I copied the arbuite onto each clip the clips turned sideways again so I had to flip the clips again.Another Problem was that Tommy didn't send a video until monday morning which didn't give me much time to edit it because I had to film my videos after I got my videos from the other people and it also took Tommy three attempts to do it which meant it took longer to edit it.Another Problem is that I only filmed my clips on monday once I had all the clips so didn't have much time to edit. I only filmed my clips after I got the clips so that I could respond to what they said so that it didn't sound like I filmed my clips in different location on a different day which it obviously was, so I watched they clips and then took something from it to add in my response before I ask my next question to make it sound like I was actually in the same room as them.Next time I need to have a better time keeping and asking for working from people sooner so i have a few days to edit.
