USI Romain College of Business participated in its first Women's Entrepreneurship Week October 18-22, 2021. Women's Entrepreneurship Week is an initiative held across universities nationwide in celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit.

These women kicked off the events at USI by sharing their business expertise from side hustles to the board room.

Gelina Mascoe-Realtor and Founder of Lumiere de Education Foundation; Heather Vaught '10, Art-Owner of River City Coffee & Goods; Dr. Brandi Neal '15, Psychology-Owner of Bombshell Bakes Premium Baked Goods; Sharon Walker-Business Executive, Consultant, Change Agent, Strategist, Entrepreneur.
Giving Your Business a Digital Face: A Website Design Workshop.

Dr. Sabinah Wanjugu guided participants through the process because a website is one of the biggest marketing tools for a business- every small business needs one.

Women in Economics.

Dr. Daria Sevastianova and Jailine McElroy's lectures focused on the gender inequality in the field of economics and what can be done about it.

The Business Model: A Tool for Clarifying Thinking About (and Communicating and Evaluating) Your Small Business.

Dr. Kevin Celuch - better known as Coach K - engaged his audience with a workshop on business modeling and entrepreneurship.
