Smiling Ivan in Warsaw

I’m the first in my family to leave the country for college. In Ukraine, where I’m from, our school goes to 11th form, so I was 16 when I graduated. I started here at the University of Warsaw when I was 17 and my classmates were all 19. I don’t really notice being younger except physical education. If I don’t want to do so many push-ups, I say that I am too young. It is no problem to take care of myself and my dormitory. I just pretend that my parents are away for a long trip and I have to take care of things while they were gone.
