- National Science Foundation (NSF) Smart and Connected Communities, Aug. 6: The goal of the NSF Smart and Connected Communities program solicitation is to accelerate the creation of the scientific and engineering foundations that will enable smart and connected communities to bring about new levels of economic opportunity and growth, safety and security, health and wellness, and overall quality of life.
- Office of Naval Research (ONR) STEM Broad Area Announcement, June 28: The ONR seeks a broad range of applications for augmenting existing or developing innovative solutions that directly maintain or cultivate a diverse, world-class STEM workforce in order to maintain the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps’ technological superiority.
- Health Resources and Services Administration Rural Communities Opioid Response Program, May 6: The Rural Communities Opioid Response Program is a multi-year opioid-focused initiative by the HRSA aimed at reducing the morbidity and mortality of substance use disorder (SUD), including opioid use disorder, in rural communities at the highest risk for SUD.
- National Institutes of Health Surgical Disparities Research (R01), June 7: The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support investigative and collaborative research focused on understanding and addressing disparities in surgical care and outcomes in minority and health disparity populations.
- NSF Expeditions in Computing, Rolling Deadline: The Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) has established the Expeditions in Computing program to provide the CISE research and education community with the opportunity to pursue ambitious, fundamental research agendas that promise to define the future of computing and information.
