PiDGiN Community dinner communication plan/Deliverables

Communications Plan

To start this project, I created a communications plan that outlined all the necessary background information in addition to strategies to communicate and promote the event. All communication pieces include PiDGiN's logo as well as Popcorn's logo and the appropriate Popcorn font to ensure brand consistency. See the full document on Google Drive.

Media Advisory

We wanted to get as many people out to the unveiling as possible, so we decided to create a media advisory to send to the press as well as important members in the Vancouver community.

Media Releases

I wrote three media releases, all with different angles (community awareness angle, food related angle and a art related angle) to appeal to different outlets in the city.

Shot List

To ensure we were well prepared for the community dinner, I prepared a shot list for our Art Director, Stu Popp; and Visual Lead, Jeremy Wong. The shot list indicated every possible shot that could be included in the video. Moreover, the video would be shared via PiDGiN's social platforms after the dinner.

In addition, I also created an interview question list for our Art Director and Visual Lead to consult during the filming process.
