Can't Touch This Tornadoes drop points against avg. to 3.9!

With this first-half goal line stand, Alcoa's top-ranked defense set sail on its sixth shutout of the season, the Tornadoes going on to blank Johnson County, 49-0, in a Class 3A playoff opener. The doughnut dropped Alcoa's points against average to a state-best 3.9 per game. The kickoff team is part of the defense, at least technically. That in mind, we present the hit of the night, with place-kicker Riley Heston taking the honors. Hit play below:
Take a bow, Mr. Heston. Zane Bonham with the assist.
Linebacker Cam Burden, MVP of last year's state championship game, locks on.
Just love this shot. Alcoa center Brenden Pecora readies the snap.
Freshman Brayden Cornett introduces a Longhorns' ball carrier to the Goddard Field turf.
Senior and reigning Juke King Ahmaudd Sankey paced the Alcoa offense on the night with 11 carries for 141 yards and a touchdown as the Tornadoes advanced.
Junior fullback Zane Bonham carved up Johnson County for 88 yards and a pair of scores on five carries.
Senior burner Ronald Jackson makes the catch and turns upfield. Later in the game, Jackson smashed a juke on an unsuspecting Longhorn defender that left us speechless.
We are absolutely and completely stupefied senior wide out Brayden Anderson doesn't have an offer from every team in the SEC. Yes, we said it. This guy is a steal, coach Pruitt. The bomb!
"Bonham scampers into the end zone. Touchdown, Tornadoes!"
Sophomore OL Lance Williams (79) looks a viking ready to pounce here. Wait, he's a sophomore!
Tornado QB Zach Lunsford takes off with the pigskin for a first down. The sophomore passer finished the night eight of 13 for 184 yards and three scores.
Tight end Taharin Sudderth set the Tornado sideline on fire with this 63-yard touchdown reception.
Junior defensive back Isaiah Bryant snares a Johnson County receiver after the catch.
