11th Annual Blackout Game September 6 VS. Wyoming

Student Section

With a full student section, the Wildcats showed their pride all night cheering on the varsity football team while also showing their support to "blackout" pediatric cancer.

The team stands with their backs towards the stands as the names on the back of the jerseys are being announced. The jerseys were sponsored by loved ones and the donations went to the Pediatric Oncology Resource Team (PORT).

The football team about to run through the banner right before kick-off. The roster for this game consisted of five sophomores, 24 juniors, and 20 seniors.
It's certainly good to win two games, but what i'm really proud of is the fact we have almost 100 kids participating in football," varsity football coach Trip Gallery said.

Two senior girls had posters to cheer on #13 senior Kolbe Vandenberg and #84 senior Carter Smith.

We're not friends, teammates or classmates. We're brothers and I wouldn't want to play for anyone else," kirkland said.
