Digital Humanities Working Group

As part of the Digital Humanities Working Group, Chelsee and I get to discuss ways to bring together people across disciplines and campuses at KSU who are interested in digital humanities and digital scholarship. One of our future initiatives is to organize a Digital Scholarship Symposium to showcase KSU faculty and student research and to highlight DH-related facilities and technologies available at KSU.

Open Education Week

The inaugural KSU Open Education Week (March 1-5) attracted 221 total registrations and 129 attendees—a huge success! My hope is that attendees were inspired to advocate for the Open Education movement by adopting open educational resources in their courses and depositing research into the DigitalCommons.

A huge thank you everyone who helped with the planning process or attended a presentation. Your support is always appreciated! If you missed a presentation, recordings are available on the Open Educational Resources Research Guide.

Fair Use Week

Join us for the upcoming Fair Use Week (April 12-16). Find more information at libguides.kennesaw.edu/publishing.

Niche Academy Updates

Communication & Mass Media Complete Tutorial is now available in Niche Academy.

Liaisons, please vote for which database tutorials you would like to see added next! I've posted a list of options to the UCLP Team, and you can vote through March 26.
