Community Safety News AUGUST 2018 EDITION

The Community Safety Newsletter aims to keep residents informed about what the Community Safety Partnership has been involved with in Chiltern and South Bucks districts in the last month.

South Bucks and Chiltern Neighbourhood Survey

The Community Safety Partnership which includes the local authority and Thames Valley Police are required to work together with other partners both statutory and voluntary to identify and address the issues affecting you and your community.

As part of this we are seeking your views on what issues affect you and your community on a quarterly basis. If you have a spare few minutes please complete the survey below to help us identify the policing priorities in your area.

Enjoying a day out this summer?

Theft usually peaks during the hot weather, as more people visit local beauty spots and beaches. Unfortunately vehicle security tends to go into the back of people’s minds, once they’ve parked up and they often leave themselves open to becoming a target.

It can take as little as 10 seconds for a thief to steal something from your car. The best way to protect your belongings is to lock your car whenever you leave it.
