lunch serves as a time for celebration and companionship Reporting by Ivy lam

Lunch at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School serves as a time to eat, talk, and meet new people. Oftentimes, outside vendors, like Bolay and Cecilie's Gourmet Italian Ices, come on campus to deliver treats to the students and staff. While meals typically come from the cafeteria or one's home, these opportunities to try something new have been loved and appreciated.

For many special events or holidays held on campus, snacks like pastries and pizza frequently make an appearance. Whether it be provided by the school or by an individual, these lunch time additions usually lead to new appetites and bonding opportunities.
