#PARTNERSINhigherEDUCATION

Across college campuses throughout New York State, including every SUNY college and university as well as some community colleges, private universities and even our State University hospital system, CSEA members are true #PartnersInHigherEducation. Without them, learning simply cannot occur.

Making sure classrooms and offices are maintained.

Getting the campus mail delivered.

Feeding our campus communities.

Keeping our campuses beautiful.

Getting students their textbooks.

Making sure our campuses are safe and secure.

Keeping our campuses clean and healthy.

CSEA members work hard every day, often around the clock, providing vital campus services supporting the physical, educational and operational structures keeping our campuses functioning including, but not limited to: physical plant, academic and institutional support, janitorial staff, transportation, food service, library, clerical, groundskeeping, administration, security, and much more.

Running our campus libraries

CSEA members truly are the foundation of education.

And they are working BETTER because they are working UNION.

Their union membership empowers them, giving them a collective voice in many important campus issues, from wages and benefits, to proper staffing, to campus safety, just to name a few. They are able to advocate for better conditions, not only for themselves but for their entire campus community.

To our CSEA Higher Education Support Professionals:

On behalf of every campus community where you work, your union extends our deep appreciation and recognition for your hard work and dedication. Thank you for all you do and for being a part of our union family. If you have any questions or concerns about your union representation, please contact a specialist in CSEA’s Member Solutions Center at 800-342-4146 or email us.

For everyone else, the next time you see a CSEA member on YOUR campus, please thank them for making higher education happen.

If you believe you could benefit from better working conditions, wages and benefits in your workplace, come together and be empowered by joining CSEA. Reach out to our CSEA Organizing Department for a confidential discussion about how you can build power and improve your life through CSEA membership.
