Aloha and welcome to Rainbow Bark. While out walking one day the Rainbow Bark project found me..,as I came upon a grove of Rainbow Eucalyptus trees and noticed the fascinating colors, textures and forms created as the bark grew and aged. I had to photograph the beautiful bark of this amazing tree. It took several months as the Rainbow Eucalyptus shed its outer layers and the bark slowly turned multicolored. I had to be patient so I took many trips up to the grove to see the new and colorful forms the bark was creating. Over the course of time..,when I visited the Rainbow Eucalyptus grove.,the bark was always changing in colorful and fascinating ways with so many beautiful colors.,shapes and textures. I took lots of pictures. Then came the day when the growth had slowed and the bark was no longer colorful but a pale gray..,so I decided to wrap up the project. Once I did so and made it back into my photography studio I discovered that I had so many great images of the beautiful Rainbow Eucalyptus bark that I really had to be choosy about which ones were the very best and that's what Rainbow Bark is.,the very best shots from the Rainbow Bark project. I also wanted the very best presentation for my awesome abstract images so I asked my friend Christopher Brown (aka Following Footprints) to create a unique.,custom piece of music as an audio component to showcase my images. He came through with an excellent song called “Flora” that is presented in the promo video below and adds that special touch that I knew would be the perfect compliment to the presentation. I really love this project and hope that you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed creating them. Navigation is easy..,all you have to do is scroll through the presentation. Take a moment to stop and watch the promo video just after this section. It's awesome! The promotional sections offer links to all the great Rainbow Bark products available from DC Photography. When you reach the gallery you can click on an image you like to see a larger version. When you're ready you can scroll to see more content.
It's fun and easy!

I love the music of Following Footprints so when I asked Christopher Brown to create a unique piece of music for my Rainbow Bark project I knew I would be getting something really special. And that’s just what I got. The piece that Christopher created is an extraordinary song called "Flora" that perfectly reflects the imagery I created for Rainbow Bark.
