Habitat

Three species of rhino are found in Asia and two are found in Africa. Included in the Rhinos’ habitat are tropical and subtropical grassland savanna’s and shrublands tropical moist forests and deserts. Different species live in different habitats for example The Sumatran rhinos habitat is dense highland and lowland tropical and subtropical forests. Meanwhile, the white rhino can be found in African grasslands.

Physical appearance

Usually gray in colour and almost completely hairless Rhinos are one of the most immense and powerful land animals that roam around in the arid African plains. in some places, it is one and a half inches thick for example their neck and shoulders. They are becoming extinct because people hunt them and kill them for their horns so they can sell them.

Predators

Chinese people poach Rhinos because it’s traditional Chinese medicine Made from the horn. Made to cure flu itchy bites headaches but it didn't work.. Young rhinos prey to crocodiles hyenas and big cats. Such as tigers Leapords and certinly a wild dog will make a meal out of a rhino.

Life span

Rhinoceros are thought to have a lifespan of between 35 to 50 years of age. However, researchers find it challenging to track and monitor them because they are solitary land mammals. Sadly many rhinos are poached and therefore do not get to die of natural causes.
