A MINUTE EACH DAY
You might initially feel that life slowed down during the isolation yet next thing you know - a month has already passed. Fleeting moments each day filled with the new "normal", with days merging all into one. Myself and a group of talented female photographers from different parts of the world came together as a tight-knit community to record 28 days of our life spent in lockdown. Our smartphones became the extension to our eyes and our vision as we reached for our very simple point-and-shoot smartphone camera each day.
We're leaving long processes of pre- and post-production for when our jobs resume. This time, all we need is a quick way to record our daily entry in our visual diary. From different parts of the world, we came together to support one another throughout this time. Mental health and creativity, undoubtedly, have taken a hit but we are here and we are making our visual voices heard regardless of what life threw at us during these 4 weeks.
And, we did it. Together.
