Our “8600 Kids Surf Club” surf lessons are taught on weekends, all year round, besides July & August.
The Kids Surf Club is for Kids from 8-14 years. The Kids should be able to swim and feel confident in the ocean. The Kids do not need pre-experiences in surfing. The main aim is to transport the joy of a great sport and one oft he nicest connections to nature. Saftey – Fun – Progress are our goals. We provide English, German and Portuguese speaking surf teachers which are all qualified by international recognized surfcoaching awards.
The classes only happen with a minimum of 3 pre-booked students, which we will know by the beginning of each month of the Kids Surf Club. That way, you as a family and we as the organizer can plan. Students must be accompanied by an adult/legal guardian/responsible person on the beach. Our Surf School Team speaks fluent Portuguese, German and English, the surf school and its teachers are accredited by the Portuguese Surfing Federation , IPDJ, ASI & ISA . Ages accepted from 8 to 14 years old.
The predefined schedule is as follows:
- Every Saturday (Sunday if we need to postpone) *
- In the beginning of every month we send the time schedule
- Latest the day before every surf class (20:00) we will send the location and beach name via a WhatsApp group
- Meeting time is always 15min before the lesson starts at the beach. If you are late, we and especially the kids ; ) cannot wait.
What happens if the surf conditions are too stormy /dangerous
- Due to saftey we might have to cancel the water lesson but we will offer fun & important alternatives:
- Lifesaver’s training
- Surfskate sessions
- Surf specific workouts
- Surf photos
- Fun competition
- Theory take place in local Surfshops or the Surf & Climb Camp Quinta Formosinho, etc.
- When it is raining the lesson will take place as the students are already wet ; )
The participants can either purchase monthly plans or single ‚drop in’ lessons. Bookings can be made on our website www.algarve-sea-adventures .com, or via WhatsApp +351 964 062 900. If a student wishes to schedule a single day class, they can whatsapp to know if there are places available.

- 1 Single ‚Drop-In’ Surf lesson 35 € (just bookable one day before the surflesson starts till 19:00) Monthly plan members will have priority

FAQ
- My kid is 6 / 7 years old? Can it participate? Yes, but only in a private session together with the parents: One session of 1,5 hours is 150 € for max 3 and 180 € for max 4 people.
- Can my kid use his / her own material? If the student wants to use his/her own material, the value of the class will be the same as the values shown. The prices are for the class service and not for hired equipment or transport services.
- Is a hard top allowed in the lesson? No. If you wish to practice on a hard top you can book a private lesson for 150€.
- Can you provide transport? No, the parents/ legal guardians/ responsible person needs to bring the kid to the beach.
- Is there a discount for siblings? Yes, the second kids gets 10 % discount.
