Weekly Highlight 11/29 – 12/3 by: Grace Elder

Throughout the week of Nov. 29 - Dec. 3, The Journal's Photos Section captured holiday spirit throughout the halls of SHS.

Athletics department

(top left) The athletics department has a Christmas tree in the corner of the room. (top right) There are mini stockings hung above stacks of papers. (bottom) Under the trophies lies a small Santa Clause and a candy cane ladder. (right) A cheer megaphone and football helmet is surrounded by garland and lights.

Guidance office

(top left) On the entrance window is a small velvet bag tied at the top. (top right) Stockings and a small tree is put up by Guidance Clerk, Kim Bova. (bottom) Small pots of poinsettia, fake snow and Christmas trees sit on the edge of the counter of Bova's desk. (right) Lights hang from the window shining different colors.
Outside of math teacher Chelsea Hoffman's room window is a large cutout of Buddy from the movie "Elf."
On the table in math teacher Tammy Tallas's room, there is a small tree decorated.
English teacher Jacob Fritz placed a "Die Hard" poster above his door as one of his holiday decorations.
A lit up Christmas tree has been put up outside the auditorium.
