The lettuce is collected and produced all year round. Lettuce is good for health because it contains few calories and it's rich in salts and minerals.
How to grow lettuce
To grow a lettuce, you need a pH balance for the soil in between 6.0 and 6.8. If you are harvesting, you must cut the head 1 inch (2.5cm) away from the soil. Harvesting, takes 80 days after planting the lettuce.
The good time to plant lettuce is 4-6 weeks before the spring frost. Because then the ground will be getting soft enough to plant the seeds inside.
