Who is Lukas?

Lukas Wambua Muteti is a passionate and performance-driven international professional road runner from Kenya. Born in Muumoni, Machakos county in the Eastern Province of Kenya, he started his athletics career at the age of 20 after he finished his studies in 2008.

Wambua is recognised for his outstanding half marathon performances with championship in Bangkok Marathon in 2015 and London Half Marathon in 2013. He won many large scale half marathon races in Europe in his early years. Recently his presence has been consistently found on the award podium in marathon races across Asia in Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore and Taiwan. Wambua is also well known for his over distance achievements.
