Book of the Month

Teach Students How to Learn, authored by Saundra McGuire, provides an evidence-based approach to teaching metacognition. McGuire provides practical strategies to help students understand learning and improve their performance. Any faculty member endeavoring to improve student outcomes in their courses should find these tips and perspectives helpful.

Collections feature a range of open access content, from educational texts, videos, slides, software, virtual labs, and other digital materials, which vary depending on the subject matter. The collections are curated by faculty teams from across the UNC System to support and enhance both face-to-face and online instruction. Each collection complements a high-demand course commonly offered across most UNC System institutions.

Due to COVID-19, Midterm Assessment Plans (MAPS) are suspended for the Fall 2020 semester. Stay tuned for additional information.
