Below are common classification of labourers working under a LiUNA Collective Agreement in the Ottawa region. Wages rates depend on a labourer's skills, qualifications, the type of work he performs and the construction project type. Contact a Union Representative for more details.

Requires proof of 4,000 hours of construction experience

Experience must be in the following industries: concrete forming, road building, bridge construction, asphalt paving, demolition, masonry/mason tending, restoration, drilling & blasting, utilities, pipeline mainline and/or distribution, landscaping.

*Initiation fee & monthly union dues payment is required to obtain a membership.
