Kiyelle Hopes, a sophomore at Community High School, missed the start of his first class to pick out this outfit. Whether that was a smart move is up for debate, but the outfit was undoubtedly worth the trouble.

Hopes sports an athleisure inspired look with bold colors that match the Tommy Hilfiger branding throughout his outfit. Hopes and his friend group share an admiration for the brand, and it isn’t rare to find some of them accidentally matching their outfits.

To Hopes, clothing means expressing one’s outer self. You won’t get to know someone from their clothing, but you will get a preview.

“Clothing is my personality from the outside,” Hopes said. “That is their first impression until they find something else out about me.”
