Meet Titans latest “dream”, Mikey. He is a 3 year old Great Pyrenees /Border Collie mix and what a beautiful combination.
Sadly, his owner past away in December of 2020 and was surrendered to the local animal shelter in Bladen County, NC. He spent the next 2 months terrified and unsure of his future.
He was labeled “rescue only” because of aggression. As soon as we met him we knew that “label” was false. Mikey didn’t have a mean bone in his 80 pound body, so we rescued him and brought him back to the Sanctuary. Unfortunately, he hadn’t been neutered yet so, as expected he had a lot energy and anxiety.
After the surgery his energy and anxiety began to level out and he was accepted into the pack where he met his best friend, Milo. These two are inseparable!
Mikey spent the next 32 days with us getting re-adjusted to home life...
... and excited about who his furever family will be.
Meet Trevor and Patti! They live in Wilmington, NC and fell in love with Mikey the first time they saw him. They also have another dog Ramsey to welcome Mikey home.
We are so happy for Mikey and know he his going to the perfect family who loves him. Thank you Trevor and Patti for loving him as much as we do!!
