THE GAME

After a long week of preparation, stress and fun, it was time for the big game. 7:30 rolled around and despite the rain pouring down at Manual Stadium, every seat was filled. The home side filled with a massive sea of red and the away side full with everyone dressed in black.

The Bulldogs came out strong, scoring early making the score 0-7 at the end of the first quarter. Going into the second quarter, the Bulldog defense was holding strong, but so were the Crimsons. Despite an offensively dominate half for the Bulldogs, they scored only one more touchdown, making the score 14-0 at half.

Despite allowing only three points in the third quarter, the Crimson offense could not find their groove in the second half. After a touchdown late in the game, the football team fell 23-0.

ALUMNI REFLECT

The Male/Manual rivalry is the oldest rivalry in Louisville, and one of the oldest in the United States dating back to 1893. The class of 2022 is now the latest to be apart of the alumni network who participated in this game.
