CITRUS FRESH Pigtown Talent

A man of a million monikers (Citrus Fresh, Trevor Tart, Zesty Supreme, etc.), Citrus Fresh delivers on a wave of Irish cloud-rap, spotlighting some seriously deep subject matter. After appearing in part 4 of the series "Somewhere in Ireland", Citrus released a 5-part concept EP "Early Days/Late Nights", highlighting probably one of the most unifying and also isolating human experiences: a failed relationship.

Shortly after his first project Citrus released his more moody and boundary-pushing second EP SMILE and has since released his full length debut album Operating System.

The highly anticipated album was released on December 10th 2020 and was regarded as a conceptual piece that sees each track being processed as a file on the Px Music studio computer, it cements Citrus’ position as one of Ireland’s most boundary-pushing artists."

His latest music video "You and Me" from his debut album Operating System has received praise in many publications such as Nialler9 and Purple Melon.

Citrus Fresh offers something incredibly rare to the listener: an inherently emotive experience allowing you a glimpse inside the mind of the artist.

"Seemingly out of nowhere, hailing from the unassuming city streets of Limerick, his newest single and accompanying video is something never seen from Ireland before. A contrasting combination ‘You and Me’ truly captures the essence of the emerald isle’s underground music culture." - Purple Melon

"Landing on the same project, though, is “Brains”, a pleasantly warm, jazz-inflected beat that allows his zonked-out rapping to take centre stage, including one passage where he is sitting in the back of a car splattered with Princess Diana’s brains. Acerbic bars like this are among the reasons PX rappers stand out in an increasingly crowded Irish rap scene." - VICE

"It’s creative, astute and boasts clear artistry."- Nialler 9

"After the release of his debut EP Early Days/Late Nights in May the enigmatic artist has garnered a cult status amongst fans due to the intense visceral performances of his deeply personal tunes." - The Thin Air
