What she carries

I have known Dania for nearly a decade, but only recently became aware of all that she carries. As we have become closer she has slowly revealed to me the amount that she has been through in her life. What She Carries captures Dania's strength through her story.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Salma Bensalim is a Moroccan-American New York City based image maker who currently resides in Brooklyn. She is a junior at Brooklyn Friends School where she studies film photography within the curriculum for her International Baccalaureate Program. She is passionate about her creative pursuits as well as psychology and hopes to combine the two in her work.
