Extra time
THE SPECIFIC KIND OF ACTIVITY NEEDED FOR THIS MOBILITY PROJECT, THE JOB SHADOWING (A PERIOD OF OBSERVATION IN A FOREIGN SCHOOL) REQUIRED A STRONG EFFORT FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF PLANNING AND ARRANGEMENTS, ESPECIALLY REGARDING THE WORKING PLAN AND THE CONTACTS WITH THE HOST INSTITUTION.
DESPITE THESE DIFFICULTIES, THE EXPERIENCE WAS PROFESSIONALLY VERY GRATIFYING, WITH A MEANINGFUL IMPACT REGARDING IN PARTICULAR THE HIGH QUALITY OF THE EDUCATIONAL MODEL AND THE ACQUISITION OF COMPETENCES THROUGH THE OBSERVATION OF SUCCESSFUL PRACTICES
DUE TO ITS “INSTITUTIONAL” RATHER THAN “INDIVIDUAL” APPROACH, THE PROJECT “DIGITAL IN EU” HAD AMONG ITS PRIMARY AIMS THAT OF PROVIDING TRAINING TO “DIGITAL MASTERS” FROM 34 SCHOOLS IN CALABRIA, BELONGING TO DIFFERENT SOCIAL AND ECONOMICAL BACKGROUNDS, WHO COULD IMPROVE THEIR COMPETENCES IN TECH AND FOREIGN LANGUAGE, BUT ALSO IN MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING, IN LINE WITH A EUROPEAN PERSPECTIVE.
THE LEVEL OF SATISFACTION AND APPRECIATION OF THE EXPERIENCE WAS EXTREMELY HIGH.
AMONG THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ELEMENTS IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER:
- THE USE OF CLIL METHODOLOGY, "LABORATORIAL" DIDACTICS AN TECHNOLOGY IN CLASSROOM ;
- A SHARED PROGRAMMING E DESIGNING OF ACTIVITIES SO THAT THE COMMUNITY OF TEACHERS CAN BE DEFINED A PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY ;
- MANAGEMENT OF THE SCHOOL THROUGH THE INVOLVEMENT OF A INTERMEDIATE MANAGEMENT;
- THE POSSIBILITY OF REPRODUCING IN ONE'S OWN WORKING CONTEXT THE COMPETENCES ACQUIRED THROUGH THE EXPLOITATION OF NEW PRACTICES AND DIDACTIC METHODS;
- DISSEMINATION AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES FOR OTHER PERSONNEL OF ONE'S OWN SCHOOL.
SPECIAL THANKS GO TO THE REGIONAL SCHOOL OFFICE, TO THE "METASTASIO" HIGH SCHOOL IN SCALEA (CS) AND TO THE "MALAFARINA" TECHNICAL INSTITUTE IN SOVERATO (CZ). IN PARTICULAR WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK DR. LUCIA ABIUSO FOR HER SUPPORT IN IMPLEMENTING THIS PROJECT.
FINALLY, WE WISH TO EXPRESS OUR GRATITUDE TO ALL THE TEACHERS THAT EXPERIENCED THIS ERASMUS+ MOBILITY, AND INVITE THEM TO CONTINUE TO PROMOTE TRANSNATIONAL EXHANGE ACTIONS CONSISTING OF THE SHARING OF INFORMATION AND GOOD PRACTICES.
