LOOSE CANNONS, The Story

Loose Cannons, aka Bootha Vandross & Cin-Q, are a seasoned Hip-Hip group based in the heart of Dallas, Texas. Vandross & Cin have been making music together since '97 and continue to hone in on their uncanny style, claim their stance, and expand both their worldwide buzz and fan base. "We only need a few minutes, that's basically all listeners need before they're drawn in, with no turning back." Is it the lyrics? Is it the catchy hooks? Is it the production? One thing is certain, listeners will experience a oneness that in some way or another they can connect and relate to.

The most common word used to describe Loose Cannons by listeners is, soulful! They take pride in bringing new balance to Hip-Hop and reshape the revolution through rhymes. "We have a formula that works to maintain the mind, ears, soul, and strive to touch on subjects that many tend to snooze on or are just scared to talk about!" Bootha Vandross is a lyrical mind bender in the simplest terms with wordplay that you might not catch up to until days later after initially listening! Cin-Q can hang with the best of them, and is one of the more gifted lyricists and songwriters to represent the South.

In 2012 Loose Cannons inked a digital distribution deal with Oakland, CA-based ABB Recrods/710Digital for their single "Say Yeah" produced by Rod 'KP' Kirkpatrick (Eric Sermon, Keith Murray, Fu Schnickens). They also received a licensing deal with Atom Factory Music. They’ve cultivated an extensive catalog of music that consists of 4 mixtapes, 2 studio albums, and 2 solo projects. After a 5-year hiatus, the celebrated duo released their highly anticipated album titled 'The Marquee.' The album sprung into 2020 with major domestic and international radio and media buzz. The duo is working on releasing new videos, and are full-throttle on the road touring and performing hit songs from 'The Marquee'.

Currently, the duo released 'The Marquee Encore Edition' album and are busy in the studio working on more projects, albums, and collaborations.
