Physical appearance
The fierce Sumatran tigers are one of the smallest tigers out there as we see right now. They have the normal colors of a tiger, black, orange, and white but they have more white fur on their chest and belly. {An exception is the white tiger which is white and black all over} Sumatran tigers are very beautiful when you see them. But these tigers are dangerous if you do end up seeing one in real life, like any dangerous animal.
Life cycle
Habitat
The Sumatran tiger is one of the only remaining island subspecies of the tiger. Other than the Bengal, Indo-Chinese, South China, and Amur tigers. It inhabits a pretty dense landscape that ranges from mountains, mountain forests to lowland forests and peat forests near the islands of Indonesia. But it’s becoming hard for these animals to thrive in the wild without being hunted down
Diet
Since these tigers live on an island, they have various types of meat, like chicken, deer, birds, fish, monkeys, and wild boars. Because of such a wide variety of food, they can eat up to 40 kilograms a day! These tigers prefer much larger mammals, like goats, cattle, and crocodiles. At times, when the meal is over, they would cover the carcass with grass for a late snack.
